I want Varley to live a long life behind bars. A long life to contemplate what the final judgement will be. I actually want prisons to be safe for prisoners - no hierarchy where one criminal feels entitled to punish another. However there should be an option to not allow him ‘lifer privileges’ - a lot of time minus tv, classes etc for his brain to dwell on exactly how evil he is.
