Israel will never be expected to passively absorb attacks on its forces and civilians. This is not the Biden Administration" 🚨The U.S. official said that since April 17, Hezbollah has fired over a thousand drones and over 700 rockets to try and derail ongoing negotiations between Lebanon and Israel. "The status quo is untenable", the U.S. official said 🚨The U.S. official stressed Hezbollah is entirely responsible for the current situation. "It broke the ceasefire on March 2 and is now intent on denying the Lebanese people a path to peace and reconstruction", the official said 🚨According to the U.S. official Hezbollah is concerned about the direct negotiations between the Lebanese government and Israel with the support of the U.S. and sees it "as an existential threat" 🚨"A successful ceasefire led by the Government of Lebanon would strip Hizballah of their power and their narrative", the U.S. official said

Putin’s attack - including a hypersonic missile - was designed to terrorize and kill civilians. Pure evil. Now, even with its advance stopped, Moscow’s desire to invade Europe remains. Deterrence requires the West to impose costs on Russian military and dual use infrastructure. The people and leaders of Ukraine are defending their nation’s sovereignty.  All of Europe should support them, and American sovereignty benefits from Ukrainian security and victory as well.

New details emerging on the difficulties in U.S.–Iran negotiations: As of now, Iran is only willing to commit to not developing nuclear weapons, while the U.S. is pushing for concrete steps to reduce enriched uranium—either by selling it, transferring it abroad, or diluting it. A major sticking point is the Strait of Hormuz: Iran wants it under its management, while the U.S. insists on full freedom of navigation. There’s also no agreement on financial relief. Qatar has stepped in with a proposal to provide Iran a $12B humanitarian loan. Notably, Lebanon is now part of the broader framework under discussion.
