He’s tired but now in a hospital local to his house. It’s a matter of resting and recovering now.
Cards delivered, he thanks all that sent one. I think I almost saw a touch of emotion in his eyes but I’m sure I’m wrong…
He is now replete with Twixes, Crunchies and After eights although currently not up to eating.
View from hospital room window is nice, shame @ThermopylaeRIP can’t see it.

Just watched a man with a facelift L405 Range Rover with a 3 digit reg plate take a stacked basket of shopping out to the car and unload it rather than pay for a bag in M&S. That's next level cheap 🤣

NCP has gone into administration. They’ve been running car parks since 1931, and somehow ended up £305m in debt. Surely the maintenance for a car park is simple: ticket machines, barriers, lights, and occasional cleaning. How can a business model literally based on people paying to park go bankrupt?

@AvonandsomerRob My local one near the office is £8.50 for fish chips and curry. However they are closing at end of the month as can’t sustain it. Putting prices up didn’t work.

My local Chippy is charging £18.50 for a large Haddock, Chips & mushy peas.

I Remember when diesel was cheaper and everyone started buying diesel instead. Suddenly it became dearer than petrol, funny that isn’t it.
