@UcheMaryOkoli Why does every Pope take a picture like this? His head is down and he's looking up to the camera with his eye. It creates a creepy effect.
English

@In_awe_of_God Exactly. The picture is clearly Jesus bearing the sins of Edmund, and the witch taking the role of Satan.
English

@Elefjohnson Also I don’t think that Narnia is really against PSA. It is Aslan taking the punishment for Edmunds fault on himself. The witch isn’t the one who has captured either one of them but rather acts as the accuser (and executor) here.
English

@Xtopher_Uzo No, it's just a new version of the Aryan heresy, and it's been around a lot longer then Martin Luther 🤦♂️

English

Jehovah’s Witnesses believe Jesus is NOT God.
That’s the ripple effect of Martin Luther.
Once you break from the Church and say “Scripture alone + me alone,” you eventually open the door to every wild interpretation.
Luther must be chilling somewhere with his lord and master - the prince of darkness, division and confusion.
English

@BillArnoldTeach I would argue that the Baptist is no less Christian then the Catholic, The Orthodox, the Lutheran, and etc. there is a unifying faith between all of these, a trust in Jesus Christ that will not leave them ashamed.
English

@Elefjohnson Sincerity doesn’t make something true.
People die for different beliefs all the time.
The question is still the same:
Which one is true?
English

@BillArnoldTeach True. But I've heard of Baptists and others who have made the ultimate sacrifice as well. I was refusing to a matter of Spirit, not a specific denomination.
English

@Elefjohnson And they died as members of the historic Church.
Not as individuals interpreting Scripture alone.
English

@BillArnoldTeach Ok, but who are you facing when kneeling at this particular alter?
I get that Catholics don't worship Mary, but this definitely gives the wrong idea.
English

@Elefjohnson Statues don’t define worship.
The altar does.
English

@UcheMaryOkoli And if they're not right thinking then they shouldn't have a voice.
English

@Elefjohnson @Mormonger Are you familiar with the Law of Moses? Or the Ten Commandments?
English

@NicedayNomoremr @ShanePaisios @jaredadairbell Yes. Most my study of Church History is focused on understanding each other, which I think is where reconciliation begins.
English

@Elefjohnson @ShanePaisios @jaredadairbell Can you agree in principle that there should be one united Church, even if you disagree about how it should be run and what it would believe?
English

@RedHotFuzz @Mormonger He led a people group that was already established as a people group. Yes, he did have a vision. God then further established him with signs and wonders.
Importantly, Moses didn't bring then a new faith. He established the faith they already had.
English

@Elefjohnson @Mormonger So Moses didn’t have a vision and lead a religion?
English

@NicedayNomoremr @ShanePaisios @jaredadairbell I mean, I am a Protestant. Or issue is slightly different, and we definitely have our own sins to desk with as well.
English

@Elefjohnson @ShanePaisios @jaredadairbell Chalk it up to "communication between countries that far away was the next best thing to impossible in the eleventh century" and hope we get it resolved eventually so we can focus on getting the protestants back in line.

@UcheMaryOkoli The fungus Neurospora crassa or the bacteria Serratia marcescensn can create this effect, along with human-like antigens.
English

Symbols don't bleed and have heart tissues.
This image is not AI. It is real.
This is what a Host that was blessed by a priest became.
This happened after transubstantiation.
The Eucharist is Jesus in His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinty.
This is what we receive every time we go to Mass.
The Eucharist is Jesus.
Not His symbol.
Jesus made it explicitly clear in John 6:54, "whoever eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life and I will raise him at the last day."
Matthew 26:26 Jesus called it His Body. Not a symbol... but His Body.
Calling it a symbol is pure heresy.

havoc211@havoc_211
It's symbolic of Christ's body broken on the cross. And yes, it's symbolic. That's how a Jewish meal of remembrance works. Or did you forget he's the God of passover too where the meal includes herbs that represent the bitterness of the bondage of slavery. Ask the Jews. Meals of remembrance aren't culturally new to them.
English

Fun fact:
The fungus Neurospora crassa or the bacteria Serratia marcescens can create this effect, and sometimes produce human like antigens.

@ByuSome @HollandGreig You keep claiming we do nothing in Heaven, I said the exact opposite.
As to Hell, I've told you. I didn't have, a straightforward told you that we deserve death and Hell. God would that all would believe in Christ. Not all will.
English

You're dancing around things.
God created us just to be unrighteous and damned, and would require Jesus to atone for us for what?
We all agree Jesus paid the price. We all agree faith in Him yields forgiveness. We all agree we're saved through Him.
My question: What is the point? Why go through all of that just to have a portion of your children return to you and do nothing and the rest be unrighteous and damned?
English

It’s nice when the Mormons own their heretical views instead of hide them
They believe in “eternal progression,” where you can become like God (who they claim used to be a man) and can create whole worlds just like God…so not just “getting your own planet,” but creating worlds
Thoughtful-Faith@ThoughtfulSaint
Do Mormons get their own planet? Nah… It’s way cooler than that😉
English

@ThoughtfulSaint Ok, so we just won't talk about:
Provo River Massacre (1850),
Walker Indian War, and the Circleville Massacre (1866).
English

In the 1800s the natives were treated far better by the Latter-day Saints than any of the other “Christian” groups settling the west.
“Young showed unusual empathy for the Indians’ plight…. While he insisted that the Saints were not “interlopers” because God had brought them to the Great Basin, both peoples possessed the land, and the Saints had to provide for the Indians, whose sustenance they had imperiled…. Indeed, few political leaders in the American West would have called for restraint and co-existence under similar circumstances.” Pioneer Prophet by John Turner

Mormonism is a slap in the face to Native American culture.
