Aight Big XII fans, here is my initial 2026 predictions. Convince me otherwise. Where am I right? Where am I wrong? Let's hear it.
Also, I'm hearing a lot of Houston hype...but IDK if I'm buying it. For now, I'm gonna put them as "Knocking at the door" but that's me eating a little bit of hype that I don't know, full transparency.
I just can't see Cincy, Colorado and ISU being worth a darn. West Virginia and OSU actually become competitive this year, but still fall short. Aranda is gonna be gone at Baylor IMO. Frost still needs time at UCF to get it together.
I think Kansas, KSU and Utah are bowl eligible.
TCU without Hoover is interesting. TCU fans, do you guys have the pieces?
ASU is just gonna be tough with Kenny there. Just is. If they can put a few things together, they're a dark horse, and if not, I think they can slip after losing Leavitt and Skatt. Idk. We'll see.
Arizona and Houston feel like they can be sneaky.
BYU and Tech still the frontrunners IMO. IDK if people are gonna disagree with that one besides Ute fans, but do they really count as people?

Utah isn't just OL and coach. HC, entire offensive staff, and defensive staff members. They also lost very key players that were elite. Not convinced on putting Utah above bowl team.
Every team is gonna have question marks, but BYU and Tech are the frontrunners IMO until proven otherwise.

Utah, BYU, and Tech all have big ???. Tech (QB) Utah (OL, coach) and BYU (WR, DC) IMO are all either knocking on the door or frontrunners. Houston and AZ I'd put right up there too honestly.

Yah, I think BYU has all the pieces, but WR is a BIG question mark right now. Lost our top 3 targets.
We absolutely have great talent, but the question is if the talent will show up and can compete at the level it needs.
I think we'll be very run heavy again, and just need our WRs/TEs to do enough to make it so defenses can't just stack the box.

@ByuSome @Big12Conference Losing your entire offensive line and most of your defensive line and secondary isn’t ideal. Offensive weapons look better this year compared to last, but it doesn’t matter if they can’t block.

Sometimes people are hilarious to me.
It's pretty comical to me how there is tons of overlap between a group that judges the absolute crap out of everyone and everything and the "don't you dare judge a woman's outfit and how she's wearing her garments!" group.
I've seen people on here like, "F*** all you Trump voters! You're awful people! F*** all the GOP!" and "All you guys out there drinking energy drinks need to massively repent! That is totally against the WoW!" and then turnaround like, "We are commanded not to judge! Stop commenting on how this girl is wearing her garments! You guys are so awful!" and I'm just cackling at the absolute loss of self-awareness 😂😂😂

IDK, I mean, we'll see what happens. OSU fans are making some good arguments to move up, but we'll see. OSU last won an FBS game in Sept. of 24...so maybe it'll all come together, but I'm not seeing a magical turn. OSU can prove me wrong and make me eat crow 😂😂😂
