@SpartanDawgPC They have a stretch 4 that will be playing this year. Kaleb Glenn. Going to be a very solid player.

But I “don’t know ball” I’ve stayed consistent with my desires. The plan is fireproof. Add one more player(stretch PF) and let’s complete the dream team.

@ACumbow Will it be more chaotic? I guess. But cmon, this entire landscape has been chaos for a few years. Guys coming from the g league mid season?! I don’t think this really moves the needle from 10/10 on chaos to 11/10. It’s a whatevs for me. Be nice for MSU. Maybe Purdue too.

You don’t think suddenly allowing all departing Seniors the option to return when rosters are set for next season would cause any more chaos? If Coop has the option to return, I’d bet heavily on him returning. He will make way more $ at MSU than he would anywhere else next year.

Going to be very interesting to see what happens with this. Do they allow departing Seniors to return? Part of me will be surprised but I imagine lawsuits will follow if they don’t. It is going to be chaos if they do allow them to return. Wonder if the transfer portal would open up a bit? Feel like it would have to. Will departing Seniors even have a spot to return? If they do, what about the guys teams have signed to replace them? It’s going to be a shit show lol.

NCAA President Charlie Baker is pushing for the proposal to allow DI athletes five years of eligibility to be voted on as emergency legislation in May, with implementation the next month. Baker is also in support of DI having a legal tampering window like we see in the NFL.

@PaulFanson What reason would a conference agree to this? The fear that if they don’t sign the major conferences just have a tournament outside of the NCAA without them? I mean, no one is going to watch these tournament games. A playin to take on crappy major conference teams?

When I first read this, I thought it came from the SEC, which made me angry. BUT, it actually came from the SoCon conference, and now it just makes me sad. Principle #2 is actively terrible for low- and mid-majors teams and for the continued popularity of the NCAAT in general.
Ross Dellenger@RossDellenger

The Southern Conference releases a statement in support of NCAA Tournament expansion with a few interesting principles: - the 24-team, 12-game opening round should be made up of the lowest-ranked NET teams in the field (likely all AQ bids) - NET calculations should be made public

It never ceases to amaze me why UM fans are constantly posting like this on my MSU Facebook ads. If I see a UM ad, I scroll past it. I do appreciate the positive comments I’ve been getting from fellow Spartans though!!

@Graham_Couch @TheRealSharty His nonanswer is the wrong way to go. I hav no knowledge of what it was but unless it’s some sort of felony or heinous act then he could leave it at something like I was an idiot and young and did x. Obviously reporters won’t report it if they don’t have anything confirmed.

@TheRealSharty It’s the most asked question by MSU fans of every year since. Would be irresponsible not to ask. If he didn’t want it asked, he should have done an interview on it earlier. Ebling should have asked when he had him on his show last winter.

There is a story that gets told about American healthcare -- The story goes like this: American healthcare is uniquely broken, uniquely inequitable, uniquely cruel to the most vulnerable. Our peer nations have figured out what we have not. Only problem: the story is made up.🧵

I went to see Project Hail Mary. Great movie, I highly recommend it. The less you know about it going in, the better. Trust me. The guy in front of me in the theater brought his dog in to see the movie with him. I think it was a service animal. But the dog really seemed to be enjoying the movie, it was strange. So I said to the guy afterwards, "I know this is going to sound strange, but it seemed like your dog really enjoyed the movie." He said, "It is strange. He hated the book."
