We have seen some reports asking if the final exfil in Cryo Archive is not working because it does not show on the overhead map.
Cryo Archive is the most dangerous place in Marathon, escape is not guaranteed. You will need to interact with the ship's systems before the timer runs out to make sure you can get off the ship alive.
There is a final exfil but it's only a true last resort, not a reliable way off the ship. It is more elusive than typical final exfils on other less difficult zones, leading to more risk if players choose to take this option. It is hidden from the map and only gives you 60 seconds to find it.

People saying their reasoning makes sense. No. If you are worried about power creep from OP loot, limit the amount of runs. Let people run when they have the time. Now streamers can no life it on the weekend and if you miss out, tough luck. Same creep will happen anyways

Marathon devs have shared their reasons for Ranked and Cryo Archive being weekend only: - Players will lose a lot of gear, so Cryo and Ranked should feel like an event you schedule towards and grind gear up to do - Some rewards on Cryo are too good and would break the economy and power gain systems if it were always open - Cryo and Ranked both have gear ante requirements and level requirements and need a consistent flow of players in the queue to make sure matches are full to retain the challenge. Making it a scheduled event means more players will show up during that window.

My trio of extremely dedicated players — all with 100 hours in 2 weeks (took PTO) — literally cannot play Friday night, or at all on Sat/Sun most weekends. Gotta reiterate that I’m extremely excited for tomorrow. But this sucks so bad. It has to at least be open Monday night.

A lot of the people defending the slide cancel in Marathon do not seem to understand that these exploits CANNOT exist in an Extraction Shooter.
What makes an Extraction Shooter so enticing is the risk/reward. When you die, you LOSE something. And that's lost forever.

The disrespect. Judge is a bum in the playoffs. He’s much closer to Lamar. Josh Allen is statistically one of the best postseason QBs alltime. Dire Marsh in trios is basically Apex Legends with a looting component right now, hard to tell how much of this was because of the soon rolled back sound changes or not, but it's unpleasant right now.

My hot take is that in trios Dire Marsh needs 1-2 less teams on the map and that in solos there needs to be less people in each lobby. I know that people were complaining about a lack of PVP (on intro Perimeter) but the meta is shifting to not playing like an extraction shooter.
