@maurice_1960 My guess. It was just not gonna be profitable. It took em 20 years to get to that point.

At one point this was the most impressive robot out there. Honda really had a head start in this space. After 20 years they retired from the human robot market in 2022. I wonder why they stopped? Any thoughts?

@ManyATrueNerd I *could not* play Final Fantasy VII because the characters were all Bobble heads made from, like, nine triangles. I. Just. Could. Not. Do. It. Fuck, I loved the Final Fantasy series, too.

I started gaming during the 90s and the birth of 3D gaming where we could literally see all the triangles, and we just played the games and got immersed in them, and once you're immersed, the graphics don't really matter beyond a certain point of communicating what's happening.

When I was on the ISS for my nearly year long mission, there was a telomere experiment comparing my telomeres to my earth baseline and my twin brother as a control. Hypothesis was they would get damaged and worse due to the environment. Turns out they got better. Initially NASA thought maybe it was due to exercise and diet. After I returned we learned JAXA had a telomere experiment on some small worms the same time I was there. Their telomeres got better too. Never saw the worms doing any exercise. After further study determined it was the radiation.

@BrianNiemeier @Poldaran1 It is a great game. It just that draw felt like too much micro management. Afaik the remaster on steam added cheat for this as an option. So people could just enjoy the game. I even have Eyes On Me and some of its soundtrack on this phone in Apple Music.

Unpopular opinion, it would be remembered more fondly today, and may have done better on release, if they'd just titled it The Spirits Within and left "Final Fantasy" out of it.

@YiKbnL @ArjunaSpeaks Actually they can't (more or less). Land used to build bunglows / expenaive landed properties are land that can't be used to build cheaper flat / condo. So the issue is land and locations. More buyers means more market. Developers will target these market.
