2 billion spent and we’ve got two wank goalkeepers and a bunch of wank centre backs, laughable.

Not even angry about the result, I accepted we were shit ages ago & the club showed no ambition to compete when they appointed Rosenior. Nice guy but so far out of his depth.

@FabrizioRomano Finished if in 2nd gear Arsenal ≠ encouraging tbh. Looked like conceding every time they went forward.

@Ephsquare @CFCDaily Literally read what he quoted mate. 3 xg conceded when we had less than 1.

Like I saw with the eyes tbh. Comprehensively beaten at home and having to go a place and score a minimum of 2 to stand a chance. Sanchez poor today but wasn’t helped by the centre backs in front of him. James and Delap better be back for Saturday.

@journalism_rp Rob he is awful mate. He’s been good with his hands for a few months. Every game without fail his distribution is shocking

Also 0 point in thinkpieces over should a goalkeeper have been signed last summer because Sanchez generally has had a very good season.

All things considerdd, to still be in the tie with about 5 starters missing (including the 3 best players) is probably not a bad outcome. Robert Sanchez's huge mistakes for two goals ultimately decisive.

Won’t be celebrating this defeat unfortunately because it’s ok saying “we lost by a goal with ___ out, ___ out” The point of this season was to have enough depth to fill the void. When it becomes an acceptance that’s when it becomes normalised. Defence was all over the place.

Feel so bad for Nuno, West Ham have been the way better team and they give a penalty like that where the player doesn’t even have a chance of getting the ball and runs into the keeper.

@PremLeaguePanel That’s exactly what the owners are trying to do, make profit from player trading not win trophies. They see it as a business not a sports team.

The main issue with Chelsea is their recruitment. They are constantly refreshing the project with raw talent buys (? to flip for profit later) instead of building the squad progressively by A) filling squad holes or B) buying game-changing talents. Guehi and Osimhen window last summer as an example moves mountains in two big squad holes as two game-changers. They instead opted for Gittens, Garnacho & Delap - 2 LWs when the wings were well stocked and an average ceiling, raw striker. There was no progression from letting Jackson, Sancho & Madueke leave to that window. Any coach’s hands would be tied with this squad not just Maresca’s.

🚨 Anger builds up outside Stamford Bridge last night as fans call out Clearlake Capital and the Sporting directors “They’ve copied the Brighton model, what have Brighton won all these years? F* all” “These owners have NO CLUE how to run this club, they need to sign READY MADE players” “Same old, too young” “It’s not the manager’s fault.. sporting directors! It starts from the top” “It’ll be Liam Rosenior or something next, you think they’ll hire a top level manager? no they wont, They hate being challenged, they don’t want someone who’s going to answer back to them” “Maybe Clearlake sell their shares to Bohely, that’s the best outcome you are going to get from this, you’ll get more out of this team with boehly running it than you will with a private equity firm” 🎥 - @ChelseaFanTVyt

Yeah this isn’t looking good. Maresca could’ve easily said he has a good relationship with the SD’s & owners but he chose not to. Managers don’t rate them, the fans don’t. Yet nothing will change
Pys@CFCPys

🚨🧐"Are you happy with people saying you have bad relationship with the sporting directors and owners?" Maresca: "I said after the game that I love Chelsea supporters - they deserve the best. Again, I don't have nothing to add"

Switching to 5-3-1 and taking off all of your counter-attacking pace with both wingers subbed off. João Pedro false 9 with Cucurella and Enzo as the runners off him currently. This has been one of the worst tactical responses to a red card that you’ll see.

This quote along with his sales pitch of Thomas Tuchel to Man Utd the week we got sanctioned by the Government are 2 massive cases of outrageous quotes for a supposed unbiased pundit to come out with. The radio silence about the CWC (the same week he was comparing this current PSG to Barca) said it all and it’s a shame cause I think him and Neville do run a good show when they focus purely on the football.
UF@UtdFaithfuls

🚨🗣 - Jamie Carragher suggests Man Utd should SIGN Cole Palmer next summer: "Something's just come to me here, If Chelsea have another poor season, we were talking earlier about Man Utd having a real problem on that right wing. "Palmer is a big United fan, isn't he? Would that not be something that United should visit maybe in 12 months if it doesn't go well? You know what, I think that could happen. Yeah, Cole Palmer to Manchester United." BRINGGGG!!!
