I'm the only person with MECFS I know who knows that not pacing worsens the illness and still doesn't do it properly. At least others I've spoken to don't do it cos they aren't aware of what pacing is. But me, I'm an idiot. I know everything and still don't follow it.

@Catinmyfamily @makemevisible24 Well not it makes sense why I struggle so much with it! I had ADHD to begin with, and just like you my Executive Functioning took a huge hit after 2 infections.

@makemevisible24 Don’t beat yourself up. Pacing requires executive functioning. Not sure about you, but my executive functioning took a hit with LC/ME so things I used to do easily are now much harder. 💙

I’m sorry for venting so much, and thank you to my parents for everything they do for me. Severe ME/CFS is not just fatigue. It affects my body, mind, movement, speech, senses, emotions, and ability to act. I don’t refuse help or care because I “don’t want it”; everything has to be timed, tolerated, coordinated, and survived. I live with severe pain, movement disorders, sensory overload, brain fog, PEM, fear, guilt, and exhaustion. My parents are exhausted too. We all love each other, but illness, trauma, and caregiving burnout make everything harder. I’m not asking strangers to fix my life. I only ask to be believed, heard, and treated with patience and humanity. I need safe, integrated support, advocacy, and care that my body and mind can actually survive.

@D_Bone @ABrokenBattery ME/CFS can be cause by any acute infection. ME/CFS is a Post Viral Syndrome, hence her getting it AFTER having COVID.

from what I was told: one of my aunts was supposed to go to a Jackson 5 concert with her boyfriend and my other aunt. when she found out they had close seats to the stage, she realized her boyfriend was going to "block the flow". she started an argument on the way, so he would sit next to my aunt and her man instead of her. she sat on the end to appear single, LMAO. it was Jackie she was after. she was shooting her shot for Jackie in a "sizzler" dress and Candie's platforms; ended up getting grounded and popped because it was too short, her hair was 'too grown' and she had a cat eye on.😭
