I love brown summer suits. Personally prefer them with ecru or even soft yellow shirts, as I associate white button-ups with business and think they often need a tie. With ecru or pale yellow, there's no mistaking that it's a more casual take on tailoring. Light blue works too.

The Hornets won’t be spending big assets on a center unless it is a can’t-miss opportunity. It’s why I don’t think they’ll trade up for Mara, and certainly don’t think they’ll do a move like this.

Some of it leans a little too SEC for me, but if you’re just a regular guy, maybe a 40-something dad, who just wants a one stop shop to dress better, it’s probably wise you throw all your clothes in the garbage and buy them all at Sid Mashburn instead

@HoernerMVP Different than the pitcher framework because the variable is almost completely open. Need to know how many ABs required before his HR. If this was the first AB of the week, insanely valuable. Within first 10 ABs of a week, less valuable, but you may be able to make it work.

If you are carrying your college books in a briefcase you’re setting yourself up for back/shoulder problems in no time. I used a messenger bag my first semester and switched to a backpack on Christmas break. It’s just debilitating to not have the weight across your back.

@chrishume_ Now? Certainly. But it’s like 2 items. At most laptop and portfolio. Any lawyer you see handling large case files will have their briefcase (show) and essentially a piece of rolling luggage that they (or their subordinates) haul around with the necessary paperwork/files/books.

@chrishume_ No debt for that degree. Law school (where the books were even worse) is where the debt came in. Worked out pretty well for me.

@chrishume_ Political science. I’d say that performative acts over practical solutions is antithetical to becoming a man, but, hey, as you say, you do you.

@chrishume_ 2-3 classes worth at a time, plus a laptop and/or notebook. Hang a 25lb dumbbell on one shoulder or have to hand carry it for 12 hours and see if you wouldn’t just rather throw it in your back.

@rachcorrine Levi’s also makes the 501 in shrink-to-fit in multiple colors - making it the easiest/cheapest way to get custom jeans in the U.S.

As you all know I am obsessed with denim!!! And Levi’s reissuing their Nevada jean sent me down a denim rabbit hole. Now. There are a lot of good denim brands out there, but Levi’s is classic and FOR THE PRICE I think especially tough to beat. This may need to be a full guide but here are some I like / a place to start: - 501 original. straight fit. A novel could be written about these jeans. They literally changed the history of denim FOREVER and I think just one of the best jeans (for guys) hands down. Straight leg no taper mid rise five pocket. Comfortable without being loose or baggy - 568 loose straight. I have this in here because I think these are quite freaking cool on some taller guys with big thighs. Every time I’ve seen my brother in them I’m like those are cool! And he says “Levi’s bro.” And proceeds to do a little spin. The 568 tapers a bit more than the 565 from the knee down. If you want something looser with a nice drape, go for the 565. - 502 slim fit. Tapered and a bit slimmer than the 501. For skinnier guys - will give you a comfortable fit and narrows at the ankle. Won’t be skin tight like a skinny jean. More tailored looked without overly baggy. - 541 Athletic Fit aka more room in thigh and seat. Lower rise and tapers at the ankle. Good for guys with big thighs! But want a tailored taper at the ankle.

If we come out of the draft with these two we burn the boats and go to war because we’ve got our next 3 years set. I don’t think Morez lasts till 18.
