The Eddie Howe Out crew is failing to understand that the standard they are using to judge him is the standard that he himself set. He didn’t step into a club already qualifying for the CL and making cup finals. He’s worked miracles and got the club to a place we could only dream of. We all agree this season has been a disappointment, but to sack a manager capable of achieving what he has would be foolish after one bad season. He has earned the opportunity to turn things around. #NUFC

@Markyt183 Totally agree. And it’s unfair to blame Howe for all of the recruitment issues. He’d gladly replace/upgrade half of the squad if he could.

@Four_3_Three Same season we had last time we had champions league. First 11 give anyone a game but squad no where near big enough for 4 fronts. We won a trophy season after last champions league campaign & no Europe season after.

Remember when Howe brought on Lascelles to try see out a 1-0 win against Arsenal this season when they were all over us. To then lose 2-1 which both goals were from headers. Howe was relying upon Lascelles in a champions league season. Lascelles will be relegated to league one tomorrow with Leicester This is why that fucking idiot in charge cannot get another penny to spend. How can you sign over 20 players and still be relying on shite like him. The squad building has been disastrous. #NUFC

@Four_3_Three He spent 700m but 600m of that was required just to get us to be a mid table team. Bar last summer recruitment had been sound. Other than Emry I can't see any other coach I would see evolve nufc long term based on our resources and constraints

When you're with lack of ideas, curriculum isn't the solution... Big clubs were built making decisions even when it hurts them. What would happen with City if Hughes still on the bench nowadays or PSG with Galtier? It's time to change, as well some players. #NUFC

@Four_3_Three I can understand both sides of the debate. I had hoped things would improve under Eddie. My question to you is... If the club stick by him, how long should they give him if nothing improves next season? 5 games, 10, 15?

@Four_3_Three It’s divisive labelling people as ‘Howe Out Crew’! The club needs change. He’s tried and hasn’t been able to do it. So the change, alongside a churn of players, is a change of leadership. It doesn’t have to be disrespectful.

So unnecessarily divisive. Fans are calling for change because it’s gone ridiculously stale under Howe. Signs were there last season - when got CL because of a ref error at Villa. Lost our identity, no plan B in games, misuse of over £200m in the summer and currently 14th #nufc

@lukkin_ahh I’m not sure a lot of managers could get out of Murphy, Burn, Joelington, etc. what Howe has.

Incorrect again. Howe wasn’t the only manager who could have achieved what he did. My point is that he is the manager that did achieve it. And Newcastle not being able to find an upgrade isn’t because of some unrealistic view of Howe. No manger better than Howe would take the job at this point in time.

This with your original post says otherwise! Howe is a good manager, and he helped NUFC rebuild, but be honest we backed into CL last year. And this year has been a disaster. And let’s ignore the money that has been spent on this roster. To be swept by Sunderland and to be 14th and players have checked out!

@TunawithaCh I think there are plenty of people that don’t want Howe out that are extremely realistic. Not believing the club could get an upgrade at manager right now is not the same as blind support.

I think eddie howe could sell Lewis Miley, get relegated and buy 6 Sunderland players and people would still want him here. We had a horrible time under ashley and because eddie helped us out after that and won us a trophy, there is blind unconditional love for him. #NUFC
