@Four_3_Three Wrong. Eddie has done a fantastic job overall, but with the ambitions set by our ownership, Eddie is not that guy. I love Eddie for what he’s done but football is a cruel and ruthless world, we need to be ruthless now and upgrade to a better manager to progress.

The Eddie Howe Out crew is failing to understand that the standard they are using to judge him is the standard that he himself set. He didn’t step into a club already qualifying for the CL and making cup finals. He’s worked miracles and got the club to a place we could only dream of. We all agree this season has been a disappointment, but to sack a manager capable of achieving what he has would be foolish after one bad season. He has earned the opportunity to turn things around. #NUFC

Anthony Gordon is 25 and has only had one good season in his career. Never has there been a Newcastle player who believes his own hype more than him. A good winger, not a great one. #NUFC

@Im_RobM He’s not as good as he used to be but he’s still a step up than Howe. Huge European experience and his name alone would help attract top players. He would be the perfect stepping stone towards an elite manager a few years down the line.

Nah seriously I love the bloke but his best days are long gone. Seems to leave clubs under a cloud these days. Once you manage in Turkey you are washed in my eyes. I need a young, hungry, hipster appointment who plays good football. Give me fun and exciting.

Needs to be an announce on Howe this week. A (likely) defeat to Bournemouth will turn the air crimson at SJP and he risks all his great working being forgotten. Announce it now and we can spend the last 6 games seeing him off properly and knowing much-needed change is coming.

He’s very selfish & straight up said no to our manager when asked to play on the other wing to help the team. He has terrible shot accuracy unless taking a penalty. A similar replacement should be easy to find.
