Neighbor asked me if I would help him move a treadmill. I said no. I do not help friends pick up heavy things. It isn’t worth getting laid up because somebody is too cheap to hire movers.

We generally don’t care what you do in your free time - that’s on you. If you’re passing out with a fifth of vodka every night, but you show up on time and aren’t intoxicated on the job, you’re welcome to keep working for us until your substance use impacts your work.

Tough question: Can a CEO be drinking buddies with people who work in their organization? The Marine Corps doesn't think so. In fact, "fraternization" is punishable under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Does it apply equally to the private sector?
