@CallmeNearly We started working on this shortly after they announced Ballistic was shutting down - very short timeline. It's a proof of concept and lots of effort was put into sightlines and making sure it feels right. If people enjoy it, we can do custom assets or a different map.

I mean, fair enough but is this map not just made out of prefabs?
I feel like for a big team trying to push boundaries there's not a whole lot being done here visually... Kind of a shame.

It’s true! And it’s normal software development.
We prioritize reported bugs. We fix them in priority order. At the bottom are low-priority, low-impact bugs. We find the cutoff point where fixing those bugs is less valuable to the game than other things, and we drop them.

EPIC GAMES LAYS OFF OVER 1,000 EMPLOYEES "Today we’re laying off over 1000 Epic employees. I'm sorry we're here again. The downturn in Fortnite engagement that started in 2025 means we're spending significantly more than we're making, and we have to make major cuts to keep the company funded. This layoff, together with over $500 million of identified cost savings in contracting, marketing, and closing some open roles puts us in a more stable place."
