@gingerneilnc @sazmoyse Is it too much to ask for men to refrain from registering as female? Parkrun has age categories and the sky hasn't fallen in. Why would a sex category be any different?

@sazmoyse @FridaRadFem /2 It would become a huge barrier to organising and running events, processing results and enforcement would be practically impossible. It would kill volunteering and with it would have a huge negative impact on parkrun. All for something that what parkrun is about anyway.

Assisted dying is a highly emotive issue for people on both sides of the argument. I am disappointed that assisted dying will not pass this parliamentary session. It is my hope that it will be reintroduced in the next few months and that the will of the public and the their elected representatives will be respected soon after.
