The Buddha's head, possibly Kshatrapa or Gupta period, near Dwarka, Saurashtra region. I have been seeing it in this condition for almost 20-25 years, @ASIGoI is in totally neglected mode. Photo credit: Myself.

An image of Dasarath Jatak depicting the exile of Rama-Pandita, commissioned under the patronage of the Ikshvakus of Vijayapurī. Nagarjunkonda (3rd century CE). King Dasaratha of Varanasi (not Ayodhya) sends his children-Rama Pandita (the Bodhisatta), Lakkhana, and Sita to the Himalayas for twelve years. This was to protect them from a stepmother's palace intrigues. After nine years, the King dies. Their half-brother Bharata refuses the throne and seeks Rama in the forest to deliver the news. While Lakkhana and Sita are overcome with grief, Rama remains calm and silent, teaching that all things are impermanent and sorrow is futile. To complete his father's twelve-year command, Rama refuses to return early. He gives Bharata his straw slippers to rule in his stead until his return.

Brahma's invitation to Buddha: In the Ariyapariyasana-sutta (Great Quest), Brahma Sahampati comes to the Buddha and talks to him about the "asudha dhamma" (impure teachings) that were previously spread by the people of Magadha. Brahma Sahampati urges the Buddha to open the door to immortality and teach the Dhamma. This event is a turning point in the Buddha's life, as it leads to his decision to teach the Dhamma publicly. Empty Enlightenment throne of Buddha, Gandharan school of art. Kushan Empire, (1st-2nd century CE).

The Indra Sabha at the Ellora Caves is dedicated to Bhagwan Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankara. While named "Indra Sabha" (Indra's Assembly) due to a misidentification of the Yaksha Matanga figure as Indra, it serves as a prominent shrine of the Digambara sect.

rāño Brahmamitrasa pājāvatiye Nāgadevaye dānaṃ. A Bodh Gaya railing inscription with motif of Gajalakshmi, dating back to roughly 200 BCE–100 BCE, records the donation of a railing pillar by Nagadevi, the wife of King Brahmamitra of Mitra dynasty of Mathura. This inscription, identified as INBG0008 on a sandstone pillar, provides valuable historical information on the early donative practices at the Bodh Gaya temple site.

Achyuta was a contemporary of the Gupta Emperor Samudragupta and was defeated by him, leading to the annexation of the Panchala region into the Gupta Empire. The coin features a prominent wheel with eight spokes (Buddhist Dharmchakra) on the reverse side. The obverse bears the Brahmi legend "Achyu," which refers to the king.

The great petron of Buddhist art also. The Tivaradeva Mahavihar is believed to have been constructed during the time of Teevardeo (Tivara Deva) and continued to stay in use until the rule of his grandson Mahashivgupta Balarjun in 7th to 8th century CE.
