We’ve heard you. Right now, we are not delivering the Ultimate Trading Experience we promised. That is the high bar we set for ourselves, and we are falling short.
Many of you have experienced platform issues or delayed support responses. We know how frustrating that is. When the tools don’t work, it impacts both performance and confidence.
Over the past year, Topstep grew faster than anticipated. Traders kept coming because the program works, but our technology and support did not scale quickly enough.
Here is what we are doing now to restore reliability and give you the support you deserve:
✅TopstepX Platform
- Narrowed engineering to focus around platform stability to fix issues faster and support continued growth.
- Implemented system efficiency improvements to prevent recent bandwidth issues.
- Adding safety stops so trading automatically pauses and positions are flattened if the platform becomes unstable.
- Strengthening account protection and simplified sign-in options.
✅Trader Support Experience
- Support teams are actively working through the ticket queue and will continue through the weekend to respond as quickly as possible.
- Improving response times during peak trading hours to reduce long queues.
- Continuing to hire additional support team members to scale with trader growth.
- Expanding overnight support staffing to shorten wait times during active markets.
- Streamlining support workflows to connect traders with representatives faster.
- Rolling out Windy 2.0 with account-level access and expanded capabilities to resolve issues more efficiently.

First, we want to apologize for the issues that have happened today. We know as traders how frustrating these issues can be. We will be taking the following actions:
- Any negative trades made between 8:00am CST - 3:10pm CST will be removed.
- We will reopen any accounts that were closed due to a violation that occurred between 8:00am CST - 3:10pm CST.
- All trades placed in MNQH26, E7H26, and YMH26 after 1:43pm CST until 2:45pm CST will be voided.
Please note we are unable to compensate for unrealized profits, missed trades or opportunities.
We understand that TopstepX is not currently living up to your (and our) expectations. We will not stop until TopstepX delivers the best Trading experience possible for our Traders.
