Why can't people perceive their own souls? It is because our souls are made in the image of God. We are imagers of God with our souls, not with our bodies. God is not embodied like we are. He is a higher being. He is outside of time and space. For He created time and space Himself. For us humans in a physical four-dimensional (3 space + 1 time) realm, it is so very hard for us to understand that other higher-dimensional beings exist, let alone perceive them. Like God. Or our souls. It is much like a two-dimensional stick figure (2D stick) drawn by Grok trying to understand or perceive me. For I am too complex a creature for the 2D stick figure. Grok and I haven't given the 2D stick figure any means to perceive me! Cuz he doesn't even have eyes, he can't observe me! Lol Much like that, we have no way of perceiving our own souls. We have no means to observe our souls. Nor God. But we can know the existence of our souls and God. How? By looking at the impact they are having on us. Like the invisible energies around us. Like energy from a cell tower. Can you see the energy from a cell tower? No, it is invisible. How can you tell it is emitting radio waves-that is a form of energy? Your cell phone lights up and works because of it. Much like you don't see gravity but you know it is there, because you aren't floating away into the air. You are grounded. Your soul grounds you to the being that you are! Simple as that. How do Christians know that God exists? How can Christians tell that they are saved? By feeling the Holy Spirit. Some people even feel the Holy Spirit coming down and dwelling in them. They feel an enormous amount of light going into them, and it makes them feel the true meaning of having a soul. A sudden, powerful wave of love, peace, and joy that feels supernatural — like being flooded with pure light or warm electricity from the inside out. Have you felt this? Ok, that's it for the day.
