@SLMMM58 @Honest_Abez @Genki_JPN I think you're disregarding the fact that all/most of these games released on pc way past their initial release date on ps5. That inherently reduces player hype/sales. Also I'm pretty most of the advertising budget goes towards the console launch

@BijanTehrani i'm not too knowledgeable on how viewbotting works but why can't you guys (or twitch) just implement one of those extensions that display real viewcounts/botted views side by side and just display the real view count under the stream?

Solution for streamers botting:
-nerfed from discovery
-can’t earn from ads
That’s it.
And before somebody says “what if someone bots attacks you”. You can ask the team to cap your views, we already do this.
My tweet yesterday was a bit unfair to the folks at twitch. We aren’t in a position to shit on them for talking about doing something. But I know from experience the limitations they face and that their solution is purely optics.
We’ve been part of the problem for so long and now we want to be part of the solution as we imminently roll out algo and ads. Because bots cost us tens of millions a year and because we know how much it hurts small to medium streamers, we have the incentives to fix this.

I've always liked your videos and content. But this comment has honestly showed me the truth of your character. I remember watching your breakdowns of the Tectone vs Pinkychu case. You specifically talked about how Tectone losing the civil case is not an admission to SA.
A lot of people tried to call you out for being a Tectone "dick rider". And here you're doing the same thing for someone who was the main voice of targeting Tectone during that case. Just proves to me you're truly unbiased and it's refreshing as hell to see. Keep up the good work brother.
