This screenshot from #StarTrekTNG's "The Mind's Eye" shows that the LCARS display of Troi's bridge console is attached with screws. In later seasons, these screws are usually hidden under (or replaces by) black tape.

I’m often asked what inspired TROLLHUNTERS while we wrote it. 80s films we loved. Amblin, Goonies, ET, Monster Squad, Lost Boys. Excalibur. Evil Dead, etc. In TV, ambitious worldbuilding like Star Trek, Gargoyles, even Steven Universe and TMNT. Games? D&D and Legend of Zelda!

@zemthings Same. I suspect it’s because, for the most part, the AI writing had a lot of the interesting, challenging or poetic sentence construction shaved away. In isolation, it might seem “cleaner” to read. In aggregate, it would probably get rather dull.
