@RyanQualtrics This was a great open practice event in a top tier facility. Everyone was friendly and professional. My son even got to personally thank @RyanQualtrics for bringing NHL hockey to Utah!

@mayemusk dear May. Brad is the 4th @neuralink implant and he has ALS and needs a wheelchair. Maybe your voice can get the insurance company to treat him properly. You and Elon are the best.
Bradford G Smith (Brad)@ALScyborg

Oh, fantastic! It's been a whopping 6 months since my doc ordered the power wheelchair I desperately need for my ALS. But hey, no rush, right? @PreferredHomecare (my oh-so-helpful vendor for Cigna/Medicare in AZ) is apparently too busy twiddling their thumbs to get it done. Paperwork? Submitted ages ago. Their excuse? "Oh, we only have ONE person handling ALL Medicare approvals." How efficient! When Cigna finally poked them, they dragged their feet some more, insisting a tech had to verify if the Permobil is "needed." Spoiler: They denied it anyway, pushing some cheap Sunrise chair that—even their own tech admits—will have the exact same jerky, unsafe issues as my current Quantum. Because nothing says "patient care" like forcing dangerous equipment on someone who can't afford mistakes. This isn't just "delays"—it's a DME company treating ALS patients like we're optional. No denial in writing, so I can't even appeal. Brilliant system! Cigna case ID ready in DMs if @Cigna or @CMSGov feels like investigating why Preferred Homecare is blocking medically necessary gear. Patients in AZ: Dealing with similar BS from Preferred/AdaptHealth? Spill in replies or DM.

I am dying. Hopefully not immediately. But, ALS will probably take me sooner than I had planned. So, I want to make this perfectly clear: I am all in for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. It is the kingdom of God on the earth and teaches the complete gospel of Jesus Christ available today. People seem proud to declare their departure from or doubt of the Church. But, I am proud to know what I know and tell others about it. Of course the Church is not perfect. But God's plan moves forward in spite of us. We have weird cultural quirks. But, we are collectively trying to come unto Christ and be perfected in him, and deny ourselves of ungodliness. That is no small task. But we join together in congregations to help each other. If we seem weird, give us a chance. There are a few key things that I know from years of work and experience. I cannot deny them, even though God's plan for me took a rather crappy turn. I know that Joseph Smith saw and talked with God the Father and His son, Jesus Christ in the spring of 1820. He learned what philosophy and theology had argued about for 1800 years: that God exists and his son Jesus is the savior of the world. He became a prophet, and spent the rest of his life imperfectly working to live up to that calling. I also know that The Book of Mormon is holy scripture, at least equal in value to the Bible. It teaches of Jesus Christ on nearly every page. I have studied it in many different ways, and prayed for answers. I know through many answers to those prayers that it is true. I also know that we have a living prophet and apostles on the earth today. And a living prophet is much more important than a dead prophet. Dead prophets don't talk back, and are subject to interpretation. Living prophets are essential to understand what God teaches us TODAY. Because I know these fundamental truths, I know where to go when I have doubts or questions or when I get a diagnosis with a 100% fatal disease. I know that God answers prayers. And, even though it took a long time, I have come to agree with His plan for me, even though it sucks right now. So, as I celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, I am grateful to know him better through my service and study in the restored Church of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for blessings he has showered upon me and my family. I know that it is worth it to try to follow him a little more each day. If anything I have said is interesting, I am happy to chat about it with you. That is literally the most important thing I can do with my time. I also wrote a book about why I know these things. MERRY Christmas.

Imagine going to the ballpark to see a game between Greg Maddux and Randy Johnson, but get disappointed they get scratched for a young Max Scherzer and a young Clayton Kershaw.

I just finished a 2.5 week road trip to Utah, Fremont, CA and my old hometown of San Clemente, CA. We toured @Tesla Fremont factory and @Neuralink. We got to enjoy the fireworks on the 4th of July with the kids. We did 2 firesides for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. @Ch_JesusChrist And we got out of Arizona when the temperatures hit 113F. The bus has @Starlink (which I paid for with proceeds from X) which kept me connected and my kids entertained. It is truly amazing! Internet everywhere ! Thank you for everyone who supported us! You are all amazing!

🚨 Major monetary shift: Texas has officially legalized gold & silver for electronic payments. ✅ Gold-backed payments now law ✅ Protected from federal seizure ✅ Path to no capital gains tax on gold-as-currency The best part? You don’t need to live in Texas to use it. This could spark a parallel financial system - sound, secure, and accessible. 👇 Drop your questions in the replies. #GoldCurrency #SoundMoney #Texas #HardMoney @Glint

Thank you Elon @elonmusk. Tonight I was able to meet @ALScyborg Brad Smith. Third recipient of a Neuralink and amazing person with ALS. Brad told us that you and the @Neuralink team have given him Freedom, Hope and Communication. What an amazing thing to accomplish. Brad gave the large and diverse audience hope, optimism, perspective and faith. Thank you Brad and Elon. It was an honor to meet Brad and his family. An evening we will never forget.

With less than 2 minutes left in the legislative session, HB306 passed! A big win for monetary freedom in Utah, opening the door to a gold-backed e-payment system for state vendors & advancing efforts to challenge capital gains tax on gold as money. @KenIvoryUT @mschultz_12
Utah Office of State Treasurer@UtahTreasurer

HB348 (2024) led to a study on how precious metals boost Utah's economic security: treasurer.utah.gov/gold. HB306 (2025) calls for a gold-backed e-payment system so state vendors can get paid in gold. Utah is taking steps to revive gold as money. Watch: youtu.be/6pcfK7GRHmg
