@HardcoreCook37 @marten_sorby @SirSicCrusader Why is it that the atheist can’t ever explain their nonsense? Instead, when they know they have no argument, they resort to name calling and lashing out? I’m the 5 year old and yet you have the potty mouth of an immature pubescent boy. Hmm… They’re the same thing btw

While people absolutely do talk about how satan is just as fake and dumb, what exactly is the need to criticise the one who's SUPPOSED to be evil, instead of the one who people claim isn't?

My boy Shredder is getting very old. He's nearly 19, and after being a fat boy most of his life, he's getting bony now. Has early stage kidney failure, and some dementia. He's not entirely "gone in the mind," but he gets confused a lot, and wants to be near me or on me all the time. So he gets whatever he wants now. I bring him food wherever he is, on my bed, on the couch. He gets a heated blanket wherever he wants it. If he wants the food on my plate, then he gets to share it with me. As long as he eats that's what matters. I love him and it's sorrowful to know he won't be around much longer. I'm gonna love him up until then.

@scovaFD @marten_sorby @SirSicCrusader You sound like a fucking moron. Your rebuttal is to give me a sermon. They aren't the same thing, they sound similar because the English language is complicated and you have the same understanding of it as a god damn 5 year old. Pathetic.

@HardcoreCook37 @marten_sorby @SirSicCrusader They sound similar because they’re the exact same thing However, deep down in the heart of the atheist, God calls you and you do know His voice. You suppress His voice, and cling to the idea of wanting to hate Him, and then go and play semantic word games around His existence

@scovaFD @marten_sorby @SirSicCrusader It isn't, there's a massive difference between the two. Once again you repeat the error here. Believing there are no gods is not the same as not believing there are gods. It sounds similar but if you took grammar in the 2nd grade you'll understand the distinction.

@scovaFD @marten_sorby @SirSicCrusader First it was "atheism is affirming that no gods exist" and now you're saying "atheism is a disbelief in gods" those are not the same thing. Lack of belief in gods and belief that there are no gods are separate things. Which one is it dude?

@HardcoreCook37 @marten_sorby @SirSicCrusader I’m not the one deciding, the definition of atheism is the one deciding and the definition of atheism is literally the disbelief of gods or God. Definitions matter for a reason. If you hold the stance that “you don’t know” then you’re agnostic not atheist

@TertiusIII @DBizzle4Prez @NathanNobis What's irrelevant? People who were raised secular, or you bringing up abuse. If it's the latter then I agree, that was irrelevant of you to bring up. Why don't you answer my initial question then?

@TertiusIII @DBizzle4Prez @NathanNobis It's kinda what you implied. I asked you how you account for people who were raised secular and your response is that a lot of them were physically abused. Now why did you say that if not to imply something about secular households?

@scovaFD @marten_sorby @SirSicCrusader Not exactly. That's the most common philosophical definition, but since language is descriptive, the "lack of belief" position is probably the most common definition of atheism in the modern age. Both are valid, you don't get to decide for someone which one applies to them.

@marten_sorby @scovaFD @SirSicCrusader The thing is that "atheist morality" isn't a uniform thing. Some atheists are moral realists and some aren't, it's odd how there's this obsession among apologists with atheists necessarily believing in an anti-realist form of morality.

@HardcoreCook37 @scovaFD @SirSicCrusader It starts from the idea that something being objective must be better than something being subjective, so if they can claim their religious morality is objective, that must make it superior to subjective "atheist morality". The fact that doesn't make sense is a minor hindrance.

I see this all the time. Many people have been severely wounded emotionally earlier in their lives. Often they will blame God but the pain is so severe & so persistent that the blame turns to hatred. Then, sometimes that hatred becomes so all consuming that the only way to deal w/ it is to push it down into their subconscious as a psychological self-protective mechanism & thus deny God exists. So they simultaneously deny He exists on a conscious level, yet still hate Him on an unconscious level.

@scovaFD @marten_sorby @SirSicCrusader I don't think you know what objective means. Unbelievable how many people want to use that word in various contexts when they don't know what it fucking means.

@marten_sorby @SirSicCrusader No because God is the objective eternal being that is the singular being that knows and decrees all things. He has no beginning nor end. When God decrees something, what God decrees is objective eternal truth.

@HardcoreCook37 @mokmuud @TouchSoftly1 @esjesjesj @AJinMN I just want to say I came back to my phone to see you bickering angrily and with a lot of hostility. Take a deep breath, you don’t need to be so precious about your opinions and attack everyone else who thinks differently. Hard to have a real discussion that way

@mokmuud @aft3ratlas @TouchSoftly1 @esjesjesj @AJinMN You don't want that money to fix issues we have, otherwise you wouldn't vote for conservatives. Plus you already said you want to cut government spending, the thing that helps people, so that you can pay less taxes. Clearly you don't understand economics, I was right.

How does it benefit the average American? Even if you don't think our horrific overspending trend is an issue (it is) that money should be directed to fix the issues we currently have here. I understand economics just fine by the way. Your attempt to frame it that way is a weak cop out.

@mokmuud @aft3ratlas @TouchSoftly1 @esjesjesj @AJinMN Right yeah, we are funding a genocide and waging a pointless war on behalf of said genocidal state. That's a good thing we could cut, instead of condemning people to die so Trump can pass a bill that makes his friends richer.

Tax cuts for the rich? What a cliché response. Also, the massive amounts of unnecessary overspending aren't unique to this administration. We should dramatically cut spending and government jobs. We should eliminate income tax. Wealthy people aren't the problem. Overbearing and wasteful government is.
