It’s now official.
There are now no LIV events on the schedule between June 7 and July 23.

LIV Golf Louisiana will be postponed, a source tells @TheAthletic. Shortly after LIV said the 2026 season goes on "full throttle," an event is moved two months out due to LIV's changing situation. LIV will return the hosting fee back to Louisiana. nytimes.com/athletic/72346…

Re. LIV and Louisiana: A source with knowledge of LIV’s operations told @YahooSports that the tour is working with the governor and economic officials to schedule a fall date to avoid World Cup viewership & heat challenges and ensure the course is in appropriate condition.
Note that two of those three factors, at least, were known quantities before LIV itself even existed. More on this, obviously, coming soon.

This is a good idea. NO in June was always a terrible idea (I’ve said that since it was official). If NO says no, then they can move it.

Now this is interesting from @NOLAnews, which reports it was LIV, not the city, that is calling off June's event. LIV reportedly wants to reschedule a "smaller, exposition-style tournament this fall."
