I would ask her what the word "God" means to her. Can we prove love exists? Can we prove happiness exists? Can we prove peace exists? There are many words we use to point to a kind of spiritual quality, yet we are simply attempting to communicate experience rather than prove an idea of something.

The United States is a Christian nation.

For truth to be truth it must be limitless. It must be something which underlies all of existence without dependence upon being recognized. That's why, in my estimation, anytime anyone tells you "This is the truth" they can only ever be selling you something that is not actually in their possession to offer. Truth is something we may all strive to point towards, but it is not an object of knowledge. It's like taking a cup of water from the river and beliving they have the whole river in the cup.

I don’t find much issue with anything he said. I’m not giving him money, and I can see how preachers talking about money will often use similar messaging to solicit audience donations, but the message of how deeply rooted money is in so many of our lives as the motivation for what we do is a big problem with how our world is setup today.
