Is Marathon the hit Sony wanted it to be? Probably not. Would Sony be stupid to shut down servers when it has a stable playerbase that could bring in passive income for years to come if they let it thrive? Yes.

There are a ton of people who would genuinely love marathon who aren’t playing it. It’s the only FPS MP game that’s grabbed me in many years and offers something actually unique in the space. I hope more people give it a try, it’s a fantastic game

Had a lot of fun in cryo today, here are the couple main takeaways that we noticed: -Loot is pretty meaty and juicy and it's not too bad getting into the best rooms once you understand what's going on -Map design is very shotgun centered/gernade spam and doesn't leave a lot of room for other gunplay -Big problem I have is you have to get good RNG to get the correct key number for a particular vault, spawn into the match with that key, pray you get the RNG boss spawn that you need, then pray for the RNG that the coin drops within the vault. Terrible design choice by double/triple layering RNG in the vaults. It will take away from the enjoyment of the map for many people based on the RNG alone. It's already hard enough getting all 6 different keys Overall 8.5/10 will probably be grinding again tomorrow

Honestly hard to argue with the viewer experience vs something like ARC Raiders, but do think the map/lore building potential with Marathon is >>> Have had tons of fun watching Cryo so far

You guys NEVER should have made things so easy to get your hands on. I hope you guys understand you killed the soul of the game by doing that. People used to get excited when that god roll hand cannon finally dropped after weeks of grinding. People used to tout getting those pinnacle weapons after a grueling questline. All gone because the “I already have a job” crowd bullied you into thinking that everyone should have everything easily, then wonder why there isn’t anything to do by day 3 of a new expansion release. The soul is gone. Apathy has set in like a cancer.

He doesn't like when people talk about raw data because he deems it "inauthentic" because his feelings can't deal with his new Bungie game getting exposed. No one is telling you to not play a bad game or to not like it, but the NUMBERS tell the real story... And you clearly know Marathon is dying already. If you cared about your community, you'd make absolute certain they were aware so they didn't waste money on cosmetics and any other crap Bungie starts peddling.
