You're almost there...the DEFINITION of capitalism came after capitalism was already being practiced, but the idea of capitalism definitely precedes the creation of capitalism. Which brings me back to my original point, Africans created capitalism.
Fidel Cashflow/مالك🇯🇲🔻@JamaicanJihadi

@ItsMeFlashE The "idea" of capitalism did indeed come after it had technically began, some nigga didn't come with one idea and change the whole world

@ItsMeFlashE Whereas indentured servitude was usually term‑limited or tied to a specific debt, and children were not automatically bound to a master. Quite different than those within chattel slavery who, including their offspring, were appraised, insured, and treated as financial assets.

So, how is being "rendered as property" & forced to work without the power to leave any different from just being forced to work without the power to leave?
🔥Adam Mattis🔥@AJMattis

@ItsMeFlashE Chattel slavery is a specific, extreme form of slavery where enslaved people are legally rendered the personal property (chattel). Other systems, like indentured servitude, can be temporary. Slavery (General): One is forced to work under control/coercion, with no power to leave.

@ItsMeFlashE @RobertJSteven @wickdchiq Because "Taking myself back to the beginning" involves assuming a bunch of shit you and me know nothing about. I beg you, go read about materialism. You`ll thank me in a couple months. And no, africans had nothing to do with the creation of capitalism, other than slave labor.

@galen_merek @RobertJSteven @wickdchiq I dont think youre a closeted racist. Youre far too intelligent to be racist. In a bid to brandish your intelligence you complicate simple things. But I challenge you...Instead of starting from the present & looking back, try to take yourself back to the beginning & look forward

@ItsMeFlashE @RobertJSteven @wickdchiq Also its very reductionist of you to think everyone who disagrees with you about something you are clearly reluctant to openly discuss is a closeted racist.

@galen_merek @RobertJSteven @wickdchiq Capitalism is a simple concept as well. You make it out to be so "extremely specific, well determined, unified system" but at its core, its really just a simple concept summed up in these four words. Private property. Open market.

@ItsMeFlashE @RobertJSteven @wickdchiq markets, trade and currency are extremely basic and simples concepts, present in many many human societies. capitalism is an extremely specific, well determined and unified system. And you don't need to tell me to think everytime you tweet, my brain doesn't turn off on idle.

@ItsMeFlashE Again, if you can’t cite your source it means it’s not in the book. Which is why bro literally cited his source chapter and verse and you were unable.

@ItsMeFlashE @RobertJSteven @wickdchiq Markets existed way before capitalism. Trade existed way before capitalism. Currency existed way before capitalism. They continued existing under capitalism, but they cannot be the defining charactersistics of the system, unless capitalism is a synonym of human existence.

@mynameisyonnas The entire book is the source. You can say youre too lazy to read it & let that be that. But if you want to get to some semblance of truth, you will read the book. Not a page, not an excerpt, the entire book. Your freedom is at stake.

@ItsMeFlashE Right. And when asked to cite your source chapter and verse you balked. So, no you didn’t actually provide any evidence, only mentioned a book you couldn’t cite properly.

@ItsMeFlashE @RobertJSteven @wickdchiq Because there are books more complex than the dictionary that define it differently. Because many words have different meanings in different contexts. Because usually people who are not morons value clarity. Because diferent dictionaries have different definitions.

@JamaicanJihadi For example, a tree can exist without the idea of trees bc humans do not create trees. A car cannot exist without the idea of cars bc humans create cars.

@JamaicanJihadi Did I say a thing couldn't EXIST before the idea of it, or did I say a thing couldn't be CREATED before the idea of it? Bc if my memory serves me correct, I stated "the CREATION of a thing cannot precede the idea of it"
