@TeamLignite @Pebble @ericmigi It's only happening on your watchfaces. Im using a pebble 2 with the new core app if that's any help. Would love to see this sorted as I can't use any of the watchfaces I've paid for now since they drain my battery so much haha

@TheActMan_YT The show should never even jump to another side story. It should always stay with the chief, and it should be that they are constantly in a battlefield or out of base, similar to how the mission playout in the games. None of this BS halo stipper and physiotherapy side missions.

Just finished watching the first two episodes for Season 2 of the Halo TV Show and... I feel like many of the same problems still exist from the first season. They spend far too much time on characters/plot points I don't care about. Not as bad as season 1. I will keep watching

@Installation001 The Glassing was great. The training scene was good, too. The rest was just so boring to me, I mean, even the bloody chief is boring in this show. The characters are just unfortunately so boring that they are not worth caring about.

Season 2 has dropped. Episode 1 has quintessentially "Halo" Combat scenes and Quiet moments. The dynamics between Ackerson and John during the "downtime" parts of the episode are captivating and laced with tension that definitely leaves you wanting more. @HiddenXperia I really hope the next episodes are better, but I'm not hopeful as the stories they are setting up don't sound great. If only they had @TheActMan_YT to help them write the scripts. We could have a real halo show that honors the games and books.

@HiddenXperia This is such a bad start to the season. They legit did the same thing as season 1 by having action at the start, then nothing for 2 episodes but cringy dialog and boring Kwan/Soren story. Now, the Spartans have hurt emotions and need ai therapist. It could've been so much better.

@HuNteR_Jjx @MintBlitz Since on mints screen he was still not around the corner, the lag compensator should give him the kill, but this "new" model most likely doesn't compensate the same way the old model did. Which was better at lag compensation, it seems. There's an article on waypoint about this.

HALO INFINITE DESYNC AND NETWORK FIX After playing on both 15 ping and 150 for 12 hours summarised. - Vehicles are smoother overall allowing for less “jank” between the player and environment. - Objects such as crates, boxes and other pieces are better but in some cases even worse. They'll fling you into the sky. - Shots seem to register faster overall even on higher ping. However shots that you fire when an enemy is in the open but run behind cover now no longer register. This is effectively making it so low ping has a huge advantage. - Wasp taking off seems bugged, has input delay depending on ping and can also swap weapons rapidly, glitching out not allowing you to fire. - Grenades now have throwing delay based on latency and this throws you off quite a lot. - Rockets and skewers are quite bad now, I’ll have examples but the projectiles aren’t accurate anymore. Rocket projectiles will actually get dragged away by aim assist making shots inaccurate. - Equipment, grapple hook will do double take and glitches out. - Forge sees some huge improvements as lifts, the wheel on Zanzibar and other moving objects are smooth, scripted objects now work correctly. Overall some really great changes but a lot more work needs to be done, I can’t recommend it go into all playlists in its current state when shot registration feels fairer with the current system and the physics on objects are still iffy.

In December we're shipping two quality-of-life updates to the Ranked experience in addition to the Extraction updates. Read all about it here: halowaypoint.com/news/december-… Ranked Demotion Protection: Whenever you rank up into a new division (Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, or Onyx) you will get a grace period of three games, win or lose, as a bit of safety net and you won’t get demoted into the prior division. Ranked Quit Penalty Adjustments: If someone in your game but not on your fireteam quits, they will still receive the max penalty, but you will not lose any CSR. The team has been hard at work on your feedback for Ranked Extraction and we've got two updates in the can that will be released before the end of the year. Audio changes: At the moment, you can hear that your Extraction point is being converted by the enemy team from anywhere on the map. This meant players were able to leave the area around the Extraction device and use the global audio queue to tell them when to peek back out. With this upcoming audio change, the device itself will emit the audio - meaning you'll have to be in a close vicinity to hear it's being converted. As a result, teams will need to play closer attention the Extraction device much more than they need to today. UI changes: Right now, you can see in your UI when the Extraction point is being converted. Similar to above, this allowed players to leave the area near the Extraction device and only peek out when the UI showed it was being converted. With our upcoming change, this will go away almost entirely. The UI will no longer indicate to you when the Extraction point is actively being converted, and it will also no longer indicate to you how much time is remaining. It's going to play a bit old school and hardcore, as players/coaches will be needing to time the Extractions like timing weapons/powerups in the older Halo titles. We feel these changes will address most of the feedback players had about the mode and will increase the competitiveness quite substantially. @HiddenXperia It is absolutely ridiculous that 343 has never been able to hold a storyline for longer than one game. Every time, they scraped the story and started a new one in the next game. They did it with spartan ops, too, and now this gets added to the list.

@HaileyEira For reach, its because the game didn't perform lag compensation in theater mode, so the other players perspectives would look like they are missing shots when they aren't, I believe. halo 3 didn't do compensation, but bungie just didn't really care as much about it back then.
