#France As of August 26, 2025, 228 indigenous #chikungunya cases have been reported. In addition, 15 Local #Dengue fever cases have been reported. They are located in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Corsica, Occitanie, and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regions, already affected in previous years, and for the first time in Grand Est, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The growing number of transmission hotspots confirms the increased risk of indigenous transmission of these viruses in mainland France. Other cases will likely be identified, including outside the usual transmission areas. 15 human cases of vector-borne #WestNilevirus infection have been identified in five departments in mainland France. The affected regions are the PACA (Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur) region, Occitanie (Occitanie), and, for the first time, Île-de-France (Île-de-France).
