@qualiascript I used to feel this way about Morrissey but he has actually become a lot more based over time.

@MaxNordau @RichardHanania Tulsi Gabbard arguably had the same path where she became more pro-establishment after seeing classified files, but Rich hates her for some reason.

@RichardHanania Kash Patel went the opposite direction: He went in, attempted to expose all of the secrets in the Epstein files, found that there was nothing there, told the truth, and got dismissed by his former audience as a sellout.

A friend perfectly explains the Joe Kent phenomenon: Someone gets a government appointment. Has wacky ideas. The professionals freeze him out because he’s wasting their time. He then thinks it’s a coverup. And since he’s frozen out, all his information comes from outside the institution. In this case, from Tucker and Candace. Who he is leaking to the entire time. When he leaves, and he says the same thing they say, he now says it as an ex govt official

@polarityperfect My ex wanted to try this and I was like "are you fucking high?" Welp. Ok let's do this. She came home and I cut the power and grabbed her while wearing some saran wrap over my head like Dexter and when I dragged her to the bed she screamed no and I stopped. Traumatized her.

Married Man's Mystery - Dominant Polarity
It's not rape exactly they are after, that's just an easy label to slap on the desire. They want plausibly deniable situations created for them by a 'bad boy' who knows what he's doing. Then she can fully express herself sexually without social repercussion. The 'rape' label is slapped on this desire because being raped implies it wasn't their fault (which it wouldn't be) so they get to avoid the 'slut' label as they had no say in it. But if you can give a woman a discreet and fun opportunity to be 'slutty' with you, without anyone having to know, then the same desire is achieved for her...

Wait Mamdani’s wife used the N word and mocked gay people? 😂 Democrats should be lining up to condemn this! Why are they so silent?

@avidseries I can pick the one I hate the least, which is Newsom. in spite of all of his silly rhetoric, he actually governed like a moderate. AOC and Mamdani have no capability of doing this. they genuinely don't understand that too much libtardism is a bad thing.

This is not good: People have learned that GLP-1s are really effective, so if they're not losing weight, they know they're in the placebo group. So these people getting placebos are getting mad and leaving the trials.

@upstatefederlst this is one of the more interesting ones. someone familiar with pragmatics could say that because "divided in half" unambiguously means (x/2), if you say "divided by half" it should never be rationally interpreted as (x/2); it can only mean (x/0.5). but reality differs.

@DanielLDavis1 the idea is to take a few ports + Khuzestan, which borders Iraq, is accessible to U.S. bases, flat, and contains 80% of Iran's onshore oil reserves. I'm not saying it's a good idea, but let's not discuss a strawman. nobody is talking about occupying Shiraz or Tabriz.

Why is it so hard for US politicians to "rule anything in or out" when it comes to US troops on the ground in the Iran War? It's not that hard, folks. The answer is 100% 'no.' Look at the topographical map below and note the virtually impregnable *series* of mountain ranges along the entire Western side of the country. Note, too, the green, level terrain of Iraq to the west, and realize that when I was part of the US invasion force into Iraq in 1991 (and the US coalition in 2003), we were able to drive into Iraq from friendly countries, over level terrain, where the defending force had nowhere to hide or defend from. Iran, in contrast, is built for defense. We simply do not have the number of troops in our entire ground forces that could be mustered to make such an attack, and even if we foolishly did order them in, they would be defeated in the many mountainous ridges and valleys that give decisive advantage to the defending force. In short, yes, reject any idea of a ground invasion of Iran. It would be suicidal, and on par with Hitler's fatal decision to invade the USSR in September 1941. It would result in the destruction of the American empire.

I'm sad to hear that Prof. Takeshi Amemiya of @Stanford has passed. He was a brilliant econometrician and gifted teacher. As a student, I took several classes with him. My favorite memory: Whenever a student would ask him a hard question, he would stop short and stare straight up at the ceiling in awkward silence. Suddenly, when the answer came to him, a look of glee would appear on his face. "Ahh!" he'd say and meticulously write out a fully worked-out proof on the chalkboard. He had such a clean way of thinking about probability, statistics, and econometrics. I will always be grateful for everything he taught me. I wish all comfort to his family and to all who knew and loved him.

“This new deal does not mean Canada will suddenly stop relying on SpaceX however. Spaceport Nova Scotia is still working toward full orbital operations, and it will take years before Canadian launch systems are ready to compete with the speed, price, and launch cadence SpaceX offers today. Still, the investment makes it clear Ottawa wants a backup plan and, eventually, a launch option that is fully under Canadian control.” This will be an epic waste of money, and all just to stick it to Elon? We are not a serious Country.

@RealJamesWoods this is phishing. always check the e-mail address and whether it matches previous communication from the organization. in general, boomers should take a screenshot of any suspicious e-mail and let a LLM look at it before clicking anything. LLMs are very good at spotting scams.

Thank you for helping, Elon. Evidently a post I made was copyright related. The X email wouldn’t allow me to respond when asked to “Review Details.” I deleted the post. Here’s a screen grab of the email. I thought it might be a phishing attempt, but the return email seemed legit.

let's not forget that both Obama and Trump are realists when it comes to IR, whereas Clinton and Bush were Wilsonian idealists. this commonality between Obama and Trump is reflected by their cautious policies towards Russia/China, and in their reluctance to commit land forces.

Sneako is one of the most insane cases of ideological radicalization ever seen He used to make really artistic social commentary videos on Youtube, And now he’s farming engagement by appealing to RADICAL EXTREMISTS in the middle of a tragic bloody war Literally caught him in 4k celebrating a building getting blown up by missiles (it was ai and he deleted the tweet) Imagine being so mentally weak that your mind gets captured by your third world bot audience Keep in mind this dude is literally from NYC, dude why tf are you even radicalized about this war in the first place And I used to be a fan. Like he’s one of my biggest inspirations ever. But he traded me for some dude in Somalia Hope it was worth it G
