@msetchell Hi Matt ... don't suppose you have any tips on getting some customer service from @epraiseUK these days? Over a week of no link to MIS and despite normal help channels, no fix. Missing the brilliant old days of the platform.

@oldandrewuk Sir Ian McKellen - he was appearing at a local theatre and came to do an assembly about his work with Stonewall. He performed monologues from some famous roles. Staff were in pieces and the kids talked about “that day when Gandalf did assembly.” Brilliant day @IanMcKellen

Who's the best outside speaker you have heard at your school? (Can be a previous school, or the school you went to as a child)

I'm not saying this has been long, but I knocked back a whole bottle of wine in excitement during the first hour and I'm now completely sober again.

So many teachers have a wedding anniversary around this time of year because of what is known as 'teachers' Saturday'. It's ours today! 16 years! Who else has an anniversary this week? Love you @SeversBec!

@SwailesRuth I’d been googling “last country alphabetically” for an hour … and then Australia popped up. Good grief. Faster people, Faster (higher, stronger).

@Jacquitilt @oldandrewuk Jacqui, you didn't teach me, but this was very much my father's attitude too. He was an HGV driver that drove on the continent for some time. Hates the French because of this. I'm positive he used this excuse when I wasn't doing well in French.

What's the silliest excuse for bad behaviour you have heard? (It doesn't have to be from the pupil whose behaviour it was.)
