In the past 5 years, I’ve found myself using d-dimer less often to decide when extended #cvCoag is warranted in #VTE. This cohort study justifies that choice. Unprovoked VTE needs long-term anticoag. Low-dose apixaban and rivaroxaban are good options, IMO
