@rustynew386 Don’t be sorry. I don’t know anyone on this side of the debate that’s hateful. We’re just speaking common sense. I certainly don’t hate trans people. I hate the ideologues that made them think they were the centre of the universe, that trans rights trumped everyone else’s.

I actually feel quite bad for posting this now. However it's clear that gay men are not interested in 'trans men' and it's important to tell women and girls, who are struggling with their identity, that it's simply not possible for them to become gay men. x.com/i/status/20676…

Gay men. Would you date this person, knowing that they are biologically female? Poll in comments. Share for a wider audience. P.s I'm not doing this to be 'cruel', I just really don't think it's kind to lie and mislead them with false expectations.

If you want to summarise just how messed up the United Kingdom is in a single sentence: The UK government believes that 11 year olds are too young to watch YouTube but old enough to block their puberty and render themselves infertile.

@SchizoMellie If refusing to date heterosexual women who believe or wish themselves to be gay men makes me a transphobe then so be it. In fact, I’m very happy to tell you that I am the biggest transphobe ever to have walked this earth and I really couldn’t give a single fuck.

🏳️‍⚧️TRANS LOGIC🏳️‍⚧️ A man is a woman if he has gender dysphoria. A man has gender dysphoria because he's not a woman. Therefore, a man is a woman because he isn't a woman.

Every Pride season, a familiar narrative appears: LGB people are victims. Things are terrible. Send money. The reality is more complicated, and more interesting. Britain has some of the strongest legal protections for LGB people in the world. Civil partnerships. Equal marriage. Hate crime legislation. Adoption rights. Employment protection. These were fought for, won, and they’re real. What is also real: those protections are being quietly eroded in areas most people don’t notice. LGB-only spaces being legally challenged. Young gay and lesbian people being fast-tracked to medical treatment. The specific needs of gay and bi men – particularly around chemsex – being swallowed into an LGBTQ+ acronym that doesn’t serve them. LGB Alliance isn’t in the business of telling people things are hopeless. We’re in the business of being specific about what’s actually happening and doing something about it. That’s a different kind of Pride. lgballiance.org.uk

Dear Lush (cc Chelmsford City Council), As a woman who had half a breast removed last year due to cancer, I am writing to raise my concerns about your “Proud of My Stripes” window display. I am also, on behalf of other women who have experienced breast cancer, respectfully requesting its removal. Because mastectomies are not a fashion statement, an identity marker or something to be celebrated. They are something women undergo because they are ill, because they are frightened, because they are trying to stay alive. Around 59,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year. Many will undergo surgery - a mastectomy, lumpectomy or other procedure. Others choose preventive mastectomies because they carry a high-risk BRCA gene mutation. If a woman chooses to have her breasts removed to affirm a gender identity, that is her personal choice. I honestly don’t know the number of women who have elective mastectomies for this reason. What I do know is that it is a tiny number compared with those for whom breast surgery is medically necessary and not something to be celebrated. I think I speak for many women who have experienced breast cancer - and for their families - when I say this: Breast removal surgery is not something I regard as cute, playful or empowering. Nor is it something I believe retailers should be celebrating. For that reason, I am requesting that the display be removed and that @ChelmsCouncil apologise for promoting it on social media. Yours sincerely, Janet Murray

@TheVikingDane I, and many others, would have explained this to @EmilyThornberry had she not turned off the comments on her ridiculous post.

My god! 1: Charles III is the King of the United Kingdom 2. The Privy Council doesn't choose the next monarch. The UK is a constitutional monarchy. The heir automatically succeeds upon the death of the previous monarch. I, a foreigner, know this better than an MP? Jesus wept.
Emily Thornberry@EmilyThornberry

Hi Frances, I know it was 4 yrs ago, but your memory lets you down. You asked to see me on the day that I attended the Privy Council to choose the next King of England. My minion, as you called her, apologised & offered other dates. Not a coward, just busy - like many women👑

I know our real history, because I lived it. I've watched our "community" being torn apart by a group who has no regard for our history, for our struggles - who just wants THEIR place in a coalition WE built - and who don't care what damage they do to get it.

Danny, gay people do not want the opposite sex in our single-sex space. You are not helping “LGBT+” people by signing this. Nobody has the right to access single-sex spaces of the opposite sex. Please do not invoke the name of gay men in your efforts to push gender identity.
Danny Beales MP@DannyBeales

LGBT+ people deserve to be able to live freely and safely. I don't believe the EHRC's guidance is helping to make that possible. My statement on why I've signed EDM 240 to stand up for trans people in my constituency and across the UK.

Sigh another day of people equating transphobia with homophobia and not realising the contradiction!

@DannyBeales This isn’t about the nebulous LGBT+ of which you speak and know nothing. If anything, the EHRC’s guidance allows homosexual people to live their lives “freely and safely.” Only a homophobe would seek to reverse the guidance.

One day, at some point, it would be so very lovely to see someone appointed to a role in DEFRA who knows anything at all about farming. Or someone who'd even attended one single EFRA committee session. Loyalty to a failing leader clearly more important than pesky food growers.🤦🏼‍♀️

@nicolelampert We have effectively legalised sexual assault and VAWG, are selling tickets, cheering the assailants on and then giving them women's medals. Bravo 'progressive' men's rights 2026 and all who pretend not to see this 👏🏻
