@Protestia ‘Pastor’ Anderson possesses this toxic blend of stupidity and self assuredness that all but guarantees at any given time he will say the most smooth brained and awful thing you can imagine anybody saying in that situation.
English

In a WILD sermon, NIFB Pastor Steven Anderson says he’s so psychologically damaged by his four "sniveling brats" and "evil pieces of trash" children publicly accusing him of child abuse, that he prays they either publicly recant so he can get his good name back, or, as an alternative, that God destroys and "spectacularly punishes" them because otherwise he's going to quit preaching.
This is long, but you get a good picture of where he's at, and it's not in a good place.

@RxOnlyFL @Exposit_TheWord Yeah she didn’t see that one coming! Haha! I wouldn’t expect her to know the difference but I would expect Farag to correct that.
English

@Exposit_TheWord Why do almost all former psychics aggregate to Calvinism? They’re trading one lie for another.
Anyhow, you weren’t EO which apparently somehow she missed when she waxed poetic about your book. Kind of a big oversight in her part, esp coming from a former psychic.

Thank you, Jenn Nizza, for your endorsement and all your encouragement, dear sister!
"Pastor Samuel Farag brings a rare depth and sincerity shaped by his journey from Eastern Orthodoxy to Reformed Baptist conviction. I am so encouraged by his passion for Scripture, theological clarity, and faithfulness to the gospel. It is evident in everything he writes. This book will be especially meaningful for readers seeking to think deeply about doctrine while remaining anchored in biblical truth.

@firewirenz @farmingandJesus Paul was addressing the pagan practice of carving material objects to represent false gods. In the Incarnation, God became a visible, material human. Depicting Christ who became flesh in no way limits him. This is a purposeful misapplication of scripture to create a strawman.
English

@JoshOrtho @farmingandJesus Acts 17:29 (NASB95) “Being then the children of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by the art and thought of man.”
This verse says no. You cannot paint God into picture.
English

@farmingandJesus But the ark does contain images of living things (angels) It’s clear Joshua wasn’t worshiping the object itself but it was a physical focal point. Exactly the same as an Orthodox icon? I’d say that would be a stretch but I can see the purpose and intent there.
English

@JoshOrtho Ark doesn’t compare to pics if people in my opinion at all.
English

@farmingandJesus In the modern is probably a somewhat later development but reverence shown to kings and holy items and places (the ark, temple, bronze serpent are present. The example clearest for me from scripture is Joshua bowing down before the ark.
English

@JoshOrtho We can chat you’re my friend🙃. Where in scripture were they bowing and kissing it. Really asking.
English

@farmingandJesus I’d disagree that it’s not in scripture I see iconography all through scripture and in the earliest churches. It’s probably not something we will likely ever agree on. I appreciate that you take scripture seriously as so many do not. 🙏
English

@JoshOrtho It’s not my point of view though ;)
It’s scripture , I will never ever be orthodox. I visited the one by our house (for observation purposes ) after talking with the “father” and he could not answer my questions. :) I found the answers in my Bible

I don’t believe they are DNA related for one second 😬

Wait... wasn't michael jackson naturally black? @grok Then why's his daughter looking purely White ?
English

@LowStudies They interestingly use an argument very similar to Mormons or Muslims that the church was ‘corrupted’ and they are the true early church. There is usually a jab at St. Constantine in there as well.
English

@muslimorthodoxy In Christ there is no Greek. Paul is speaking of vice not a situation of one’s birth.
English

Racism is explicitly taught in Christianity, in Titus 1:12, Paul quotes a racist saying against Cretans and says that this statement is true.
“‘Cretans are always liars, vicious beasts, lazy gluttons.’ That testimony is true.”
Are Christians okay with saying for example
“African Americans are always liars, viscous beasts, and lazy gluttons” ?

@OrthodoxChrist2 @S54851331Smith @Exposit_TheWord To be fair to her she renounced it..But given how easy it is for her to be dishonest when it comes to Orthodoxy I believe that she was lying and taking advantage of grieving people, and now she’s got the evangelical grift rolling.
English

@JoshOrtho @S54851331Smith @Exposit_TheWord That’s absolutely bizarre… so she says incense and candle are “occult” but communicating with spirits… isn’t?

Thank you, Jim Osman, for your endorsement of my book! I appreciate it, brother!! To God be all the glory!!!
"Eastern Orthodoxy has enjoyed a recent surge in popularity. Many have become disillusioned with the shallow preaching and superficial worship offered up in the large, commercial centers that masquerade as 'churches.' Seeking something more profound, many are turning toward religious movements that appear to be deeply rooted in truth and history. Unfortunately, they are opting for a form of godliness that lacks the power of the gospel. The Eastern Orthodox Church denies justification by faith alone, the core of the biblical gospel, and is thus an enemy of the truth and an enemy of Christ. Samuel Farag, in his book Eastern Orthodoxy: Through the Lens of Sola Scriptura, does an excellent job of comparing the teachings of Eastern Orthodoxy with the Scriptures. This resource draws clear lines of demarcation between the truth of God and the deceptions and lies of Eastern Orthodoxy. I especially appreciate the gospel emphasis, which will make this a book perfect to hand to someone considering converting to this false church."
