Kennedy defused the crisis on the issue as early as 1961 by agreeing to inspector visits and in 1962 Kennedy even approved the sale of American Hawk missiles, In fact, in 1963 Kennedy was more concerned about the Egyptian weapons project that used former Nazi scientists.

I think so too, because I can name multiple albums that don’t have any big love but still culturally relevant

The Joker in this specific comic is based on the Golden Age Joker who had his own sense of patriotism, so any attempts to psychoanalyze by bringing up other continuities like TDKR or Killing Joke is idiotic.
And the comic is set DURING WW2.
