@Sauronlordking Why does this government never consider cutting their excessive spending? It's always "gouge the citizens for more $$$" as their first solution.

Don't you worry about that.🇦🇺
So pensioners will still get the 50 per cent CGT discount, but self funded retirees earning under 45 thousand dollars a year will have to pay the minimum 30 percent tax rate. What a fucked up government. Labor are driving people onto welfare.

@piotrkulpinski I think Google under-estimated how many people don't want one single bland "overview" answer replacing the awesome variety of 'the web'

Is this only me or is the whole "SEO is dead" discussion actually is "Google Search is dead" and other are taking over/catching up?

How often did 3 year olds get attacked 20+ years ago? Now we've got strangers throwing them into crocodile enclosures in Huntingdon. We're expected to accept this as part of daily life now.

@ausstockchick @AlboMP he presumably asked his younf staff who would have been briefed on the level of sycophancy required to maintain hubris as immense as that of the PM.

So Albo goes on TV to say that he is hearing positive feedback from young people about his party’s change to CGT. Who are you trying to convince @AlboMP? Yourself? You are not giving anyone a fair go. You are taking away every young persons fair go. #auspol

@Lj814453841367 @NoelWhittaker sure but you are investing money you've paid tax on. And in the case of businesses there is any amount of uncosted labour input from the biz owner.

@JunoNameon @NoelWhittaker Let me simplify this. You invest. You make a profit of $1000. You pay tax on profit. The end.

The CGT Tax Grab They're Hiding The capital gains tax changes are worse than anyone realized. The actual tax rate is 32% including Medicare levy. And here's the kicker: it's a flat 32% regardless of your income. Zero taxable income? Still 32%. You can't reduce it with super contributions. You can't reduce it with charity donations. The only exception? Pensioners. Self-funded retirees are being hammered while the government tries to rush it through Parliament before people figure out what's really happening. Spread the word. They're counting on you not noticing.

@KobieThatcher I think it's just for appearances and marketing but sure, where are the "karma-free" loans for buddhists? We shld, however, ban halal in Australia. Why aren't the Greens pushing for this?

Every Aussie should be outraged at this. The National Australia Bank offers Sharia-compliant Islamic financing. I wasn't even aware this was happening until last week, but there's a whole page about it on their site. Why should one religious group receive special treatment?

A photo of the crocodile enclosure. A 3 year old couldn't have fallen in or be accidentally pushed. He wouldn't have reached the barrier. An evil man deliberately lifted up & threw him in that wee child to be savaged. Poor innocent angel. I've never felt so angry.

@Bex724 @PaulineHansonOz @AlboMP precisely. He is also cool with the unaudited huge spend on indigenous people's wellbeing yet still some live in squalid conditions as emphasised in that awful murder case recently - where is all that money going and why is he so complacent about the money spent to no end?

@ricochet_888 Not a fan of the Dj but I find it amusing to recall how strangely smug the PM was about being at his wedding or whatever it was and wonder how he must feel to have his "celebrity" connection endorse the woman driving the campaign against him.

@macsween_prue @AustralianLabor Our money was paid to this woman on the pretext that she would be unable to work again but she holds down multiple gigs and it's already proven that she was supported by her employers at the time. Her rorting skills are good enough for her to be actually in the Labor cabinet yes?

Scandal & Brittany Higgins are familiar friends. More than $1m of the @AustralianLabor taxpayer payout of $2.4m has mysteriously disappeared from the Brittany Higgins Protective Trust. Allegedly transferred to persons unknown & bankruptcy trustees cannot find it. This means ex-Minister @lindareynoldswa who successfully sued Higgins for defamation, out of pocket for legal fees. She will possibly lose her home. Meanwhile Higgins is lauded & championed by the sisterhood - a protected species who will surely one day get her comeuppance.

@XOQueenEsther The problem with her "bambi" performance is that it's implausible. She would be more likeable as an openly complex, hardbitten, on the make C list talent from a complicated family and with a tonne of baggage, trying to leverage her looks.

Meghan Markle said she knew so little about Prince Harry that the only question she asked her friend before agreeing to meet him was, “Is he nice?” because if he wasn’t kind, “it didn’t seem like it would make sense.” Do people actually believe this nonsense?

@Matt_Camenzuli Weird- running my biz has been demonstrably more difficult since the @albomp regime. More accounting admin expense, more time spent deciphering a more bloated asic, labyrinthine bureaucracy, stress-inducing punitive tax dept, 3x rent/power, harder to get motivated staff etc

It is clear that Albanese, his advisors and key cabinet ministers have never started a business in this country. Especially not a high-risk tech start up. I have and I can assure you, Australia has always been a tougher place to do business, but now it is almost impossible.

Shouldn’t the King give a Statement on the Rape of 250,000 Children “his subjects” in Britain by predominantly Muslim men over decades of Rape and Torture. Surely the BIGGEST Scandal and Crimes in our history deserves a Statement from our Monarch.
