@TommyJaggi If they swap Troy to LT instead of putting Nacho at LT. I'd put Dunker at RG (he played RT) and McCormick at LG(where he played his entire college career.)

LG - Gennings Dunker
C - Zach Frazier
RG - Mason McCormick
RT - Max Iheanachor
Take your lumps early with Max-I and Dunker. Put them where the plan is to be long-term.

@Kazesosa @PittsburghSport Thats not how that works. Consensus board take the board values of a ton of different people, many of whom base their evals off of insider information they have. Once everything's averaged out thats the "consensus". And history say that board is a decent indicator of value

There’s the player and then there’s the value of the player given the draft pick.
The #Steelers got some interesting players. But man they reached on so
many of them. They could have had players ranked much higher. This is a huge test of the Steelers evaluations versus general consensus.

@DJon2danext @TraiDay79 I like Will but he was throwing to Jeremiah Smith, Emeka Egbuka, and Carnell Tate. Allar was throwing to Trebor Pena, Devonta Ross, and Kyron Hudson. There is a huge difference there

OSU - 3 first round pick WR's (2 top 5), 2 Top 40 pick RB's.
Psu - 1 1st round TE.

My first thought about the Steelers 2026 draft class as a whole:

@CoachWarzu IF, and big if, If McCarthy can develop Allar, he's easily the most physically gifted QB in the draft. Nussmeier is a gunslinger with a popcap gun and Klubnik well, he's not much better.

799 career snaps. 3 seasons under 200 snaps, including last year due to injuries. 306 snaps is his career high for a season.
Tested poorly at pro day. Couple injuries in the past. 7 TFL, 1.5 sacks. Will watch his limited tape over the next week

@Alex_Kozora This has been my argument. If he houses a KR/PR with the game on the line, or at worst, flips the field, are people going to really care that he was drafted in the 4th round? While they've done decent lately, like 70% of Steelers 4th rounders never see the field.

Wetjen to me is a good player who fills a big need at returner. The Steelers have been bad there.
But I think it's fair to question if a guy who only has 46 career touches at the FBS level is good value in the 4th round.

Heidenreich is a rare guy that blends RB ability with receiving/route running ability. Perhaps if he went to a large school with a good running back, he wouldn't have been a 7th rounder.
