Gennings Dunker is almost certainly going to play G for the Steelers. Built for it, has the nastiness to play inside. Really like this pick.

#Steelers took a good look at cornerbacks in the pre-draft process. Third round felt like the right spot they'd take one. Jamel Dean a good signing but he's never played a full NFL season. Need depth in this league, especially facing Bengals twice per year.

@FarabaughFB I would be really glad if they stopped talking about the guys personalities and started taking actually good players. They've drafted well for the last 2 years but holy hell this draft has been an unmitigated disaster so far.

Steelers DC Patrick Graham says they love Daylen Everette's personality and his makeup. They also love his physical tools and what he brings to the table. "You could just tell there's some grit there and a willingness to get better."

Well I'm kicking myself for not putting Drew Allar in my final mock draft. There was plenty of smoke on the team taking a mid-round QB. They wanted a prototypical "AFC North" passer. He's the guy - with a lot to clean up - by Mike McCarthy and Tom Arth. #Steelers

@Steelersdepot We knew they would take a qb sometime in these mid ish rounds. I didnt get the feeling he was in danger of coming off the board so feels like they could have gotten him w one of the other 3s or the 4th and prioritized other spots

@TFG_Football Unless McVay has hinted behind the scenes at wanting to leave after Staffords done. Would make sense to get the next qb in and learning from them instead of hoping the next guy can evaluate and develop one as well as McVay could

I just can't bring myself to buy into this narrative that Les Snead went rogue and McVay didn't want Ty Simpson. These guys have always worked great together and Snead would never take a QB without McVays approval.

@FarabaughFB There has to be something w Pregnon that isnt out there. He had 1st rd mocks with most seeing him in that early 2nd area. We're now in rd 3.... That said im calling round and maybe using the extra 3rd to trade up and grab at least 1 if not both.

Well, Oregon guard Emmanuel Pregnon is still on the board. Hard to imagine with the needs the Steelers have a better pick right now. McCoy, talent wise, obviously, but the medicals really loom large there.

@FarabaughFB I mean its very Cory Trice like. Trice wasnt as good a prospect but he was a day 2 projection and fell to round 7. If its that bad it might be a long fall. I still think the talent would be too good if we hit the comp picks.

Emmanuel McNeil-Warren and CJ Allen are on top of the board that the Steelers met with. Not sure if they’ll make it all the way Not receivers but BPA players…

Just my opinion but: Last night doesn't even hold a candle to how embarrassing the 2022 debacle was to me, and for all of the comparisons between Broderick/Max, they didn't pass on MULTIPLE tier-one players this time around like they did with Christian Gonzalez & Brian Branch in 2023. I get the optics of it all, and maybe I'm just so conditioned to them letting me down that I've lowered my expectations for them, but they've done at least a dozen dumber things in the past five years alone. I understand the swing; I really do. So, if you're still wondering why I'm not crashing out—that's why.

@TraiDay79 Its tough cause two things are true. The guy is a legit 1st rd tackle and has traits to be special. That said picking a RT when you already have one, letting a team move ahead of you when you have the most picks in the draft, whole process they took is what is getting my hate
