small: No LAK OTL but same effect. Drop game to team far out of playoff race.
Medium: Needless penalties by Laughton/Ceci (didn't prevent scoring chance ) set stage.
BIG: Every night, LAK get help from more than one place in playoff race. Most nights squander chances. Some nights, 1 point, others 2. Must W in Van.

@DennisTFP I don’t see anything in the Kings game that makes me think there a playoff team. This team needs to miss the playoffs to wake up the ownership.

small: At some point, Kings must help themselves. Played NHL's hottest team even for 40 but same old...
Medium: Can't win at home. Can't find way to win in 3rd period. Can't get key penalty kill.
BIG: Fall to 9th in West. Maybe the road solves problems. See you in SLC.

BIG: Kings give away 2 points in Anze's special moment. Were 18-1-0 when leading after 2, surrender 4 to a team playing for nothing. Penalties by Byfield and Clarke decisive. Another lost opportunity in a season full of them.

@CDatres24 Chris, I don't decide the call. I explain the rule then give my opinion. My opinion was different than Toronto's. I don't have a crystal ball. They allowed the goal so I gave my 'best guess' as to why. At no point was I siding with anyone.
