Here is the video where Dave Rubin tells Jordon Peterson that he considered using his sister’s eggs before destroying 18 embryos to design a baby for himself and his husband. Rubin goes on to suggest the man he’s married to will be the nurturer.

This is a deeply subversive post. Villodos is twisting the logic of scripture to launder votes for Dems. What he says is *technically* true, but relies on category confusion to practically create false moral equivalencies. Here's how it works: Step 1. "Doing X doesn't make you a Christian." Step 2. "Doing Y doesn't make you a non-Christian." Step 3. "What makes you a Christian is faith in Jesus." All the above are true statements, but they are presented as some kind of logical argument. One of the biggest errors of pietistic people is their dealing in false equivalencies which kills discernment and rational thought. They present themselves as sages dispensing upside-down, otherworldly gospel wisdom. Where have we seen this hat trick before? JD Greear and Jackie Hill Perry both said something like this: "homosexuality won't send you to hell. How do I know? Because heterosexuality won't send you to heaven." Both statements are technically true, but the implication is a false moral equivalency. It's twisting scripture to suit an agenda. You could do the same thing with any topic. "Stealing doesn't make you a non-Christian. Giving doesn't make you a Christian. What makes you a Christian is faith in Christ." The implication is that stealing is the same as giving. "Having children doesn't make you a Christian. Aborting children doesn't make you a non-Christian. What makes you a Christian is faith in Christ." The implication is that having children is the same as aborting them.

I just started Jen Hatmaker’s book “Awake” this morning. I’m at the very beginning, and I’m already stunned by her open contempt for the Bible. I just finished the part where she rages about Jeremiah 17:9, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?” She rails against this text because she believes that it undermines a person’s ability to trust their instincts. And then she sneers at the notion that one might trust God rather than their own instincts. I’m listening to the audiobook, which she reads herself. All of her passion goes into denouncing this text from Scripture and how it was used to harm her. It’s ugly and sad and pathetic beyond words. So far, this book worse than I anticipated (which I didn’t think was possible).

I won't be leaving New York City. We can't afford to surrender one of America's greatest cities to people who believe in punishing ambition, condemning success, rewarding criminal behavior, and villainizing the pursuit of financial independence. The road ahead will require courageous men and women who are willing to sacrifice their time, money, and energy to defend the American way of life. But it is also important that everyone hears the voice of the people. They are telling us clearly that rent is too high, groceries are too expensive, the system is not working for them, and change is needed. These people have identified real problems but voted for the wrong solutions. Thankfully, New York City is a very resilient place. It is a city that stands for ambition and opportunity. That is not going to change. Long live New York City ❤️
