@Rep_Stansbury The Iranian regime intends to wait us out because they know that the Dem have of the country supports the regime more than they do the US government. So of course they didn’t come to a deal

Why were the President and Secretary of State at a UFC fight tonight—while two real estate bros and the VP were trying to negotiate ending a war? And we’re wondering why it failed…?

@Kannanforva @LoudounDems @dulles_dems Your flyer doesn’t talk about blue states that have also done it. Nor does it mention that those states followed the process that is proscribed by their state laws. Virginia has a different process that removed politics to avoid this. So stop trying to take us back to it.

@timkaine So it is ok to rig Virginia because the other side did it in other places? VA specifically voted by overwhelming numbers just a few years ago to stop political gerrymandering. Limiting the voices of your constituents to do this is really showing that you only listen to Ds

@RepBeccaB Why should he only end his campaign? Why are you not calling for him to resign his current post in the House? Do you support unsealing the files around the Congressional Slush fund that is meant to keep these stories quiet?

The sexual assault and misconduct allegations against Rep. Swalwell by multiple women, including former staffers, are shocking, disturbing, and backed up by evidence. I’m heartsick for the women who went through this and grateful for their bravery in coming forward. I stand with them. Rep. Swalwell should end his campaign and there must be a full and timely investigation.

@YVindman Your campaign should be to end political gerrymandering in the states that allow it… not by trying to politically gerrymander a state that banned the practice. You are the one manipulating a system by changing the framework. Those states allowed for mid decade redistricting

Today, I voted YES on Virginia’s redistricting referendum. This moment demands action. The Trump administration has been defined by chaos, cruelty, and corruption — and voting YES is how we push back. It’s how we protect fair elections and stand up against a system being manipulated for political gain.

@DavidIRamadan @Heather28674692 @schaarschm1 @GovernorVA @SpanbergerForVA Y’all also didn’t pass a budget so when you come back for a special session you could pick up some extra bills to raise taxes. The tax proposals were made because your party wants them but put them on hold to try to no lose the special election on redistricting

C’mon, Meghan. You know better than this. It was a bill proposed by one of 100 members of the legislature. It never saw the light of day. It was killed and never made it to the @GovernorVA. If you dislike @SpanbergerForVA, just say so — you’re entitled to your opinion. But don’t use this lazy, silly argument. You’re smarter and better than this.
Meghan McCain@MeghanMcCain

You're proposing a bill that would force working class people to pay for things like a leaf blower tax, gym membership tax, dog grooming tax, dry-cleaning tax and vehicle repair tax, JUST to name a few. You're a radical marxist pretending to be a moderate soccer mom.

@SuhasforVA Virginia has a fair system for Virginians. We voted on that years ago. You are asking people to make it unfair for Virginians so that you can hope to move into the majority.

Once again, President Trump shows how misinformed and inept he is. None of those taxes passed my committee so none of them made it to the Governor's desk. Our dispute now is whether data centers will pay the same sales tax as every other business and I will not budge on that.

@BarbaraComstock @MeghanMcCain They also didn’t pass a budget … so the legislature is not done for the year. It was the Governor’s party that proposed them. In a time limited session there is no reason to write the bill if they didn’t want them to pass

@laurenboebert Put forward legislation to reveal which offices have used the slush fund of tax payer dollars to quietly cover up the bad behaviors. No more hiding the truth from the people — no mater who gets caught up in it.

@MikeLevin If he should stop his campaign immediately, why should he not also resign now. Also, since you are against this behavior by colleagues would you vote to release the list of users of the Congressional cover up slush fund?

Eric Swalwell should suspend his gubernatorial campaign immediately. The allegations against him are grave and deeply troubling, and they demand a thorough investigation. I have nothing but respect for the brave women who have spoken up. Their voices deserve to be taken seriously, and those responsible must be held accountable. Should the facts bear out what has been alleged, resignation from Congress is the only appropriate outcome. The consequences here must be proportionate to the truth, wherever it leads.

The multiple reports of sexual assault and misconduct by women staffers and others about Rep. Swalwell are detailed, disturbing, corroborated by contemporaneous accounts and all too compelling. These allegations are disqualifying in many ways. He should follow the advice of his campaign chairman and California colleagues and end his campaign. My thoughts are with the survivors.
