🚨 EMERGING INVESTIGATION: Finasteride (Propecia) — Depression. Anxiety. Suicidal thoughts. Millions of men are prescribed the hair loss drug every year. Recent research links it to serious psychiatric side effects. The FDA added suicide risk to the label in 2022. Reply with helpful info. We're organizing 👇

@woodymatters @LawsuitsOrg Are lawsuits lining up for GLP-1’s? It is ubiquitous, and people taking it are real life versions of the pharma ads running gleefully through fields of flowers, but it’s only fine until it’s not fine. The harms are not being talked about except in small circles of those who know.

@LawsuitsOrg I took it for 2 years between 2007-2009. Hair looked great. Mental health was extremely poor. Also diagnosed with lymphoma and Hoshimotos. Stopped immediately. Will let the hair slowly wilt away. Can’t ever go back to Propecia

@LawsuitsOrg 2026 — France requires black boxed Propecia and required a signed certificate from both patient and physician acknowledging both are aware of suicidal risks and persistent sexual problems that finasteride can cause.

@Joewallace3939 @LawsuitsOrg Maybe a bit of being less happy/ more depressed in general, enough to get on a SSRI on and off the past 2 years I just assumed it was life though, not a medication for hair, that's what sorta throws me off

Stephen’s Voice - Suicide Prevention
Please sign this mother’s petition: c.org/rDnvsYDQTX 🛑 Justice and Change for All Victims of Finasteride Finasteride has stolen too much. Too many lives full of promise have been cut short. Too many families have been left grieving or watching helplessly as a loved one disappears behind the mask of Post-Finasteride Syndrome (PFS). This drug—marketed for hair loss and prostate issues—has caused profound suffering that the world continues to ignore. We are parents and partners, siblings and children, friends and survivors. Some of us lost our sons. Some of us lost our brothers. And some of us are still watching them—fighting a silent war inside their minds and bodies. We’ve seen their bright spirits fade into depression, anxiety, confusion, and isolation. We’ve seen them cry in agony, beg for help, and lose hope. This is not rare. This is not psychological. This is real, and it is devastating lives. 📉 Post-Finasteride Syndrome (PFS) is a severe and complex condition that can begin during or even months after stopping the drug. It causes: Irreversible sexual dysfunction, including genital shrinkage and loss of sensation Extreme neurological and hormonal dysregulation Sudden and severe depression and anxiety Emotional blunting and cognitive decline Suicidal thoughts—and in too many cases, suicide itself. Despite this, Finasteride continues to be prescribed—often for cosmetic reasons, without sufficient warnings, and without real understanding of the potential lifelong consequences. 💥 We say: ENOUGH. The time for silence, denial, and delay is over. We are demanding: ✅ Full medical and regulatory recognition of Post-Finasteride Syndrome (PFS) ✅ Immediate investigation into its long-term, multi-systemic effects ✅ Transparent disclosure from pharmaceutical companies like Merck, and those who approved and promoted this drug ✅ Dedicated funding for scientific research and treatment development ✅ Mental health, medical, and financial support for victims and bereaved families This is not just a petition. It is a call to conscience. A call for justice. A call for change. This is for every young man who never got to become a father. For every partner left behind. For every mother crying herself to sleep. For every survivor too broken to speak up. And for every doctor and regulator who turned a blind eye. We will not rest until the world listens. Until this tragedy is recognized, and no more lives are lost to silence and greed. ✍️ Sign the petition. Share it far and wide. 📢 Let this be the moment when the tide begins to turn—when grief is met with justice, and silence gives way to action. #JusticeForPFSVictims #EndTheSilence #PFSawareness #StopTheHarm #TruthAndHealing #ForHenry #ForRomain #ForMarc #HopeAndAction #NeverAgain #DemandAccountability #SignForAll

Post Finasteride Syndrome (PFS) I was just hit with a shower-thought. Lately many reached out to me in my DMs asking about my viewpoint on finasteride. Honestly I wasn’t even aware that many sensitive young men are taking this drug. So I dug a bit, and read some reviews, it’s easy these days. During the shower it hit me, I could relate way too much to PFS. Here are some of the actual symptoms guys report with PFS: - Head pressure - Chronic fatigue - Digestive issues - Dry/thinning skin - Decreased libido - Sexual anhedonia - Erectile dysfunction - Anxiety, panic attacks - Genital sensitivity loss - Emotional detachment - Insomnia or sleep disturbances - Depression (with suicidal thoughts) - Brain fog, memory problems, slowed thinking, concentration issues I am very familiar with this list. I was so disconnected from myself—I thought I lived a normal, healthy life—until God crushed my life into a thousand pieces. I didn’t need finasteride to shut down my drive. I drifted through life, even though I excelled on paper. I spent years suppressing my feelings, numbing my pain, changing careers, hopping between cities. And when I hit rock bottom, there was a void. Depression or burnout are too soft of words. I’m still surprised I made it out alive. When I hear Kanye’s line from Saint Pablo: “I wasn’t supposed to make it past 25” I always get an electric shock. I was completely lost. Related to where I come from, I made it very far with engineering, promising jobs, but it still felt wrong, not my life. Wrong direction. And let me make it very clear: if I made it out alive and bounced back from that hell hole of severe depression, no PFS is permanent if you endure enough. And the good news is you can reverse balding naturally. It’s a hell of work and it starts inside, but you have to take your lifestyle very serious too. No more “balanced” cope, unless you are on a wedding. This is the warriors, king, magician path — you keep that sweets lover better on a line. I know many became too soft today—integrated feminine the say—and would call what I do over-perfectionism, overthinking, obsession, controlling. But you can’t leave room for error if the machine destroyed you for years. Stop negotiating with wrong conditions, weak inputs and excessive living. You control what is in your control, and it’s more than they sold you. The feminine intuitive yin energy of letting go we integrate in other parts. But not in everything regarding our health.

I had a friend with Bad Post-Finasteride Syndrome He described how he can feel nothing at all. This is hard to wrap your head around. It’s worse than being psychopathic. Because psychopaths can get dopamine. It even extended to the physical world, where dropping heavy things on his foot caused no pain. I couldn’t understand. I asked him “don’t you get annoyed not being able to feel anything?” He re-iterated “bro I can’t feel ANYTHING”

Do not take finasteride until you've personally had a conversation with somebody who has Post-Finasteride Syndrome (PFS). Sure, there's a chance you tolerate it fine. But is it worth the risk of nuking your androgens for life? You tell me.

Previous lawsuits mainly focused on sexual dysfunction. The psychiatric angle has not been litigated at scale. We're organizing studies and reported experiences to share with law firms to evaluate legal action. If this affected you — reply below. This is how it starts. ⬇️
