I would assume another burning question some ask, “How did you build your following?” This is free advice to all of you. Well that’s an easy question to answer but also complicated. 1. Just be genuine and authentic. People resonate with others. 2. Understand not everything goes viral. It really hits the dopamine receptors when you see your posts do really well — just don’t make that a daily expectation. 3. Have fun. If you don’t have fun on social media - you’re doing it wrong. 4. Build your following on what you know. I’ve never said I’m ever 100% accurate and know everything. Be weary of those that say that they do. 5. Find your niche. And try and go international. There are many throughout the world that align with your purpose or interests. Don’t be afraid to communicate with them. 6. Spaces are a time consumer. If you just want to talk with people it’s fine, but understand if you’re trying to maximize your effort to grow here - they can be draining and time consuming. 7. Did I mention have fun and be authentic? 8. Once you build — you’ll notice that you’ll gather numerous haters. Because everyone likes to argue. Don’t take it to heart and understand that it drives engagement. You can’t please everyone. This is just a few times that I have discussed with my followers and subscribers over time.
