Refinery workers on the job in Borger, Texas, 1943. Perhaps some of y'all more intimate with the workings of a refinery can speculate on exactly what they're doing. In any case, it's a superb image. So, I talked to my dad and passed along your hat tips and thank yous! He’s very humbled by the response. A few points of clarification- this footage was 1990, taken at the end of the road on Smith Ridge which is right next to the Floodwoods in North Idaho, and this was an old growth patch of Cedar and White Pine so most of the trees you see coming down are White Pine!

And when He walked out, the grave clothes were folded on the slab. He didn't stumble out tangled in death. He left it sitting there like a man who's done with the clothes he used to wear. Lazarus needed someone to unwrap him. Death still clung to him even after he was breathing. Jesus folded His own burial linen and walked out clean. That's the difference between religion and resurrection. Religion unwraps you slowly. Asks you to manage your sin. Attend the class. Read the book. Try harder next week. Resurrection says the man who walked into that tomb is dead. The man who walked out doesn't know him. You're not fixing the old you. The old you is in a sealed tomb in Jerusalem, and he's not coming back. The man reading this, the one who thinks he's too far gone, you're not too far. You're already buried. The funeral happened two thousand years ago. Now get up. The stone's already moved. The linen's already folded. Walk out.

This is my truck. I restored it myself, except for the paint and the automatic transmission. It took me five years. I started with a well-loved but tired 100,000-mile truck that had been owned by the original owner for nearly 50 years. Then I got a notebook, a camera, and started taking it apart. I just removed the next obvious thing. I'd take pictures from a couple of angles, take notes, remove them, tag them, sort them, and store them. I eventually stripped the truck all the way down to the two bare frame rails. Then I had that frame blasted and powder coated. Next, I restored every subassembly and component. Then I started reassembly. Believe it or not, I just used my notes in reverse order, and as you'd hope, it worked perfectly. It was rust-free, but I had the paintwork done by Musclecar Restorations in Chippewa Falls, WI.

Six years ago in California, sand was dumped in skate parks to make them unusable. Parks were closed with yellow caution tape, while others got arrested on the beach. The same people participating in NO KINGS BS, literally supported banning the outdoors.

Is there something like this, only for grinding up dead fallen trees that are as big as 36” in diameter? I have several thousand that need to be dealt with.
