🏆A HUGE shoutout to Agustín Badi, the Cardano developer who spent 1/4 week family vacation coding the first #Cardano Swap Limit Order using intent-based protocols (UDC) and the P2P DeFi Kernel by @__fallen_icarus This demo was achieved by learning + teaching AI GCScript DSL on the week, and he kindly (heroically) teamed up for our today's @Cardano_CF Dev Office Hours Session. We bet bug fixes and more is to come after a well deserved rest and some time spent with family 🫂🇨🇱

👀Join us today on a journey back in time... Our workshops and talks usually are based on hacking and recreating the open QR codes from this little guy: The famous @M2tec_1 Paypad!⚡️ The first "hardware dapp" in Cardano as I like to call it as it connects directly with GameChanger Wallet through UDC to execute payments and mints on user wallets. On Builder Fest, our last presentation, the good old Paypad we have was still connecting to the Beta version of the wallet as is 3/4 years old by now. So as we want an up-to-date one for the next workshops, let's explore together how to update it by hacking it even deeper this time👀...

Update: #Cardano seemed to have fork without breaking, only latest node version is sitting on the right branch. We are awaiting latest versions of our dependency stack to fix this. Balance may be a bit outdated, and new transactions may not have effect in the meanwhile. As soon as 1 of our Dandelion Node Operators upgrade their version, wallet will start to function as expected. cc hey @_KtorZ_ we are counting on you once again 🙏

🚀 GameChanger Wallet v2.4.46 released! This cumulative update brings: - smoother on-boarding with more wallet-importing options for all your wallet types and UI bug fixes (thanks to @Ada_Moments and @ArpRadioweb3 teams for their improvement requests). - Networking revamped. Faster and more reliable connections, client-side load balancer improved with smarter logic for our federated/decentralizable backend infrastructure, new network monitor for stats, - Improved QR + NFC support. - New governance-related API features. - IDE improvements plus one more wallet scripting example for our #Cardano devs. - Bug fixes. With the consent of his family, we're deeply saddened to share the news that Max van Rossem has passed away while in Japan. He died peacefully in his sleep from heart failure. Max was a much-loved member of the Cardano community, always thoughtful, generous, sharp-minded, and deeply committed to those he worked alongside. He made significant contributions to the development of Cardano’s constitution and to many of the governance discussions and optimizations that will help shape the network’s future. Many of us will be deeply saddened by his passing. At this time, we ask that everyone continue to respect the privacy of his family and the grief of his close friends, as they navigate this unimaginably sad and hard time. Our thoughts are with all who knew and loved Max.
