I vote YES on the IO: Developer Experience Initiative. To me, this addresses a core “chicken and egg” problem in Cardano: we can invest in Bitcoin DeFi, interoperability, stablecoins, bridges, and infrastructure…

Hi, Yoda! Thank you for the thorough explanation. I do think there are several misconceptions that I'd like to address: There is no overlap with either the IO or other community proposals. To be clear, the problem I want to solve is builders choosing other ecosystems over ours. This article goes in-depth about that: x.com/theroberm/stat… The Maintenance Initiative focuses on maintaining our core infrastructure and documentation. It's incredibly important, but even if all that is implemented, how is that going to make it easier to onboard more developers? The same things we struggle with now will still be there. "Engagement & Ecosystem support" for each proposal covers the work related to their proposal, not others. For example, I'll support the ecosystem by paying bounties to tooling/library devs to improve their tools and integrate them with the rest of the ecosystem. They'll benefit, and the whole Cardano community will benefit because it'll make our tooling easier to use. That's just one example; all my items are actually ecosystem support targeted at onboarding more developers. About: "I do not fully agree with the premise that fragmented tooling and scattered documentation are currently the primary bottlenecks to building on Cardano." That's an opinion, not a statement, so I won't argue. I will say that I've been working publicly on this proposal for months, and I've spoken with TxPipe, MeshJS, CF, Intersect, and many other teams in the space; they all agreed this was needed and provided valuable feedback that I used to improve the proposal. Plus, if you look at CF's Developer Report, you'll see that those are indeed the issues that developers point to as the most important (questions 12 and 28, for example): cardano-foundation.github.io/state-of-the-d… Just pointing out that it's not that I had an idea and pushed for it, I worked and aligned with the dev community, and the proposal came out of those discussions. Here are two examples: My presentation at the buidler fest: youtu.be/HIbnHwb14lU?si… And an open source repo with drafts of previous proposals: github.com/rober-m/cardan… About: "Cardano already has an official developer portal maintained by the Cardano Foundation: developers.cardano.org. It is important to maintain a single, well-maintained source of truth rather than introducing additional parallel documentation efforts that risk fragmentation and eventual obsolescence." Yes! Agree 100%! That's why we've been working with the CF (@boraonchain) to identify what we need to improve to make the portal an amazing onboarding experience. And that's what I put on the proposal. All teams are aligned. We expressed that in several Intersect Developer Experience meetings and GitHub issues: github.com/cardano-founda… github.com/cardano-founda… github.com/cardano-founda… This also goes for Intersect's Developer Advocate program. We aligned our work so they don't have to do what we do, and we don't have to do what they do. We complement each other. Agree 100% with "As Cardano matures, it is important to gradually reduce dependency on founding entities and enable a more decentralized ecosystem of contributors." If you look at the intended effects of the proposal, it is to lift everyone else. It's to make all community tooling easily accessible, well-documented, and easier to use, independent of your marketing budget. If these were the things you weighted as key for the decision, I'd like to ask you to reconsider. No one ordered me to make this proposal or told me what items I had to include. I saw an opportunity to solve a problem that has been bothering our dev community (and me for almost 5 years), and I took it. If we don't solve this issue, the gap between Cardano and competing ecosystems will keep growing (as it has for the past 6 years) until there's no way we can compete. I don't want to keep seeing that. Thank you for all your efforts as a DRep, btw. I really appreciate it. You make a good point that we should require proper documentation as part of the delivery process. Not only that, but we should also require them to contribute to and maintain that documentation on the Developer Portal. There are, sadly, virtually no contributors to the Dev Portal and almost no incentive to do so.

Without developers, we don't have products and services. However, we can't seem to increase our numbers! Are we going to do something about it? Here's my proposal to accelerate onboarding and support existing devs with the highest ROI I could think of: momentum.cardano.iog.io/proposals/deve…

Hey Cardano! Our Strategy2030 requires a network capable of 27M transactions per month. Ouroboros Leios is the engine that delivers it. 🚀 In the last year, we successfully moved Leios from paper to a prototype implementation. We are about to hit a major milestone: The dedicated Leios testnet launches this June! Our new proposal (₳27.7M) is the bridge to a production-ready Release Candidate. We are seeking funding now to ensure **zero gaps** in momentum as we head toward the Dijkstra era hardfork inititation in November 2026. Why this is the priority: 🔹 Scale: A 10x–65x throughput leap to meet 2030 ambitions. 🔹 Efficiency: 86% of the budget goes to direct engineering delivery. 🔹 Transparency: We've been shipping every month. See our progress in the reviews below. DReps & Community: Voting is open until May 24. Help us keep the momentum alive as we transition from testnet to mainnet readiness! 🗳️ Full Proposal: momentum.cardano.iog.io Leios Monthly Reviews: leios.cardano-scaling.org/docs/monthly-r… Roadmap: leios.cardano-scaling.org/docs/roadmap CIP Design: github.com/cardano-scalin… Stay tuned—@ch1bo and I are hosting an X Space soon to walk you through the plan and answer your quesitons. #Cardano #Leios #Ouroboros #CardanoGovernance @IOGroup

Check this out 👀 @F_Gregaard, CEO of @Cardano_CF , just spoke about the 5am.Earth project at #ParisBlockchainWeek — live on @Cointelegraph. "We have 4,500 farmers with Syngenta in India, live on the blockchain now. Every week we onboard another 150 farmers." Today we are already up to 5500 farmers, and still growing ! This is what Cardano was built for. 🌾⛓️ Full interview 👇 🔗 youtube.com/watch?v=j8f0qe… #Cardano #5amEarth #ParisBlockchainWeek #BlockchainForGood
