This is Fatemeh Soltani, a 32-year-old woman from Esfarayen, Iran. She was the devoted mother of a beautiful six-year-old daughter, Gissou, and a nine-month-old baby boy, Rastin. Like millions of Iranians she had grown exhausted by the Islamic regime's corruption, repression, and tyranny. On January 8, 2026 she posted a message on social media: "Tonight I am going out for my children, because they deserve to have a good life", before joining anti-government protests. Hours later, for daring to demand freedom and a future for her children, regime forces shot her dead in the street. Days later, her young daughter Gissou was watching a video reel featuring photos of protesters who had been killed. She suddenly froze when she recognized her own mother among the faces. Watch her heartbreaking reaction below as the reality of what happened hits her. At just six years old, Gissou then stood before mourners at a ceremony for her mother and told them not to cry for Fatemeh, but to applaud for her. In the face of unbearable loss, this child showed the same courage that drove Fatemeh into the streets; a courage the Islamic Republic can never kill. Fatemeh Soltani's name will never be forgotten.

Something’s shifting about Israel and Jew hate. A slight breeze. Almost imperceptible. I felt the exact same sensation in the trans debate. There was a tilt in perception, especially when the general public found out that a male rapist was in a female prison. Before that it seemed as though nearly everyone in the world, which really means everyone in media, politicians, and those running institutions, accepted men could be women. And then reality reasserted itself against the madness, as most people clearly saw what was going on and went ‘Nah that’s bollocks, that’s not right.’ And some media and politicians got braver, and some saw which way the wind was blowing, and the mirage started to fade. In the UK, the incessant attacks and plots against Jews has also woken the British public up. We are not bigoted. We don’t like this. We don’t like what this means for our country. And whether from bravery or self-interest, the media and politicians are slowly changing their tune. For the most part they either pushed lies about Israel, or went along with them. It’s insane what happened. Our media, politicians, and many institutions, have spent years acting as direct outlets for Islamic extremist propaganda. Just insane fucking lies. None more so than Israel is enacting a genocide. And now British Jews are being killed because of that lie. And as more time goes on, and it’s apparent the population of Gaza has in fact massively grown, the lie gets harder to push, harder to defend. Especially as the ramifications of that lie are seen in the continual violence directed at British Jews. That’s why Kemi Badenoch’s clip went so viral. She spoke for the silent majority of British people who are sick of this. They have seen the hate marches, they can see that those who were meant to inform have done the opposite, can see Jews are being attacked as a result. And they have gone “Nah that’s bollocks, that’s not right.” This isn’t over. By a long shot. Years after Isla Bryson, the battle over women’s rights and children’s safety is still ongoing. For Jews it’s probably going to get worse, as those who’ve pushed the genocide lie, either because they hate Jews, or because it was fashionable, will double down. This includes many politicians and media. They are complicit. We are seeing some pivot and hoping no one notices, but the damage has been done and it’s going to be difficult to return to where we were, what we were. Although hopefully, those dealing in facts and evidence, no longer have the wind blowing so hard against us. This Sunday there is a march against Jew hate. But really it’s a march against all the wankers who got us to this place. The more of the British public who come, the more who shout their defiance alongside Jews, who call out the bullshit of those who’ve shamed their roles to lead and report, then the more chance of turning a breeze into a gale. It’s time to get this country back to what we once were. A haven for Jews, a haven for fairness, tolerance, and common sense.

@BangSwitchMatt Reminds me of a case I saw in court of a teenage shoplifter. She’d been to the same shop the day before to leave her CV and chat to the manager. So when she was recognised on the store CCTV (“I’m sure I’ve seen her before…”) it wasnt all that difficult to track her down.

I'm having a hard time imagining someone could be this stupid. A guy comes into our store and special orders a gun. We order it for him, it arrives, he comes in fills out all the paperwork, we have a copy of his driver's license and his signature, and he leaves with the gun. He goes home and files a credit card claim saying he never got the gun. Credit card company takes our money. Nothing like committing a felony in which you leave your ID, signature, and it's all on video. Just called the cops to file the report...

Meet Ifhat Shaheen, she is a Green Party candidate in Hackney. She has shared conspiracy theories online, including a suggestion that Israel was harvesting Palestinians’ organs “to help alter DNA of Zionists to claim land.” Although the Greens have pledged to root out antisemitism, she remains a candidate in this borough which has the second largest Jewish population in the country. I’m told she was personally picked by both @ZackPolanski and @ZoeGarbett who wants to be mayor of Hackney. Perhaps they could comment. Did they handpick a conspiracy theorist as a candidate? This is Mansoureh Heydari and her husband Behrouz Mansouri, an ordinary Iranian nurse and technical instructor from Bushehr who lived quiet lives raising their two small children aged seven and ten. After finishing their shifts on the evening of January 8, 2026, they left their kids with relatives and joined protests against the Islamic regime. They marched with thousands of other fed-up citizens through their city in a peaceful protest, until the regime responded the only way it knew how. Without warning or mercy, its security forces opened fire from inside a mosque, shooting Behrouz in the head. As Mansoureh desperately tried to drag him to safety, she too was gunned down. Their children were orphaned and left alone in a country ruled by the enemies of humanity. Mansoureh and Behrouz are just two of the 40,000+ murdered by these monsters in January 2026. We won't forget their sacrifices or their names. They paid the ultimate price so their children, and countless others, can one day live a better life and finally be free from these demons.
