Today September 19th my Bella (the German Shepherd) died. Loving family dog and brave guard dog, so brave she deemed the flatbed truck coming down the road a threat and attacked that threat head-on. She went down fighting. We miss you already Bella!

Obedience means saying “indeed He is risen” because your parish does, despite believing “truly” is better.

If I had already agreed on a time and place to meet someone, I'd just text them on my way out the door to coordinate." "Well, guys are supposed to confirm. So in practice, she'd regularly make plans with a guy and then he'd end up texting her an hour or so before they were supposed to meet and she'd write back with a snotty "oh I'm sorry, you didn't confirm so I'm not coming. Good luck to you." Eventually, I learned she had a short list of Tik Tok influencers who were filling her head with all these dating rules every day. Total nonsense. Completely anti-social and neurotic. Playing every single insecurity she had and convincing her to self-sabotage at every turn. But she was completely beholden to them. They owned her mind and directed her moves. It is difficult to overstate how unhealthy Tik Tok is for young women. It's like a diet of McDonald's every day for the brian. If I could commission one study it would be: -Life outcomes for women who never used Tik Tok or Instagram vs. -Life outcomes for those who were active uses in their formative years I bet the differences would be striking.
