Okay, I need some input from people on an upcoming project idea. I am trying to decide what works better for the "terminus module" for my train. Do I just make the end with one switch to allow me to shove cars? Or do I make it with two switches and the blue area holds the engine?

I know there's a lot of gloom about the state of US manufacturing. People are right to be nervous, but I'm optimistic. Amazing things are happening. It only gets better from here. Lots of companies will close, but those who stick around will be larger and better than ever.

Fast growth is expensive. You either finance it with equity (outside investment), or debt. Debt is the single-biggest risk for a fast-growing startup. You can't "switch off" debt service. If you get ahead of your skis and run out of cash, you die. Period. Expensive equipment financing adds extreme risk for rapid growth. Equity is less risky in some ways, more risky in others. It's definitely the more expensive way to finance growth. More accessible, cheaper capital for equipment would do wonders for manufacturing growth in the US.

@Twolfrecovery @CAgovernor My only hope is that on parole, he messes up some small part of his parole and goes right back to prison, where he belongs. I know a lot of ex-inmates hated parole since the smallest infraction could send you back for a much longer time.

@ConceptualJames I remember my dad reading The Hiding Place to our family as a kid, and it's an incredibly intense book. They sacrificed their lives to protect innocent people from an incredibly evil regime. And then you have "Christians" like this guy who dunks on it for the message it carries.
