@jeff_gluck This event honors the military, and specifically America's 250th Birthday....as well as the Navy's. Thank you NASCAR for bringing this to my base. Fans that can't walk far and like chugging beer and eating, eating, eating....should stick with Talladega or Bristol.

I’ve gone exploring during the red flag and several fans have stopped me with less-than-ideal reports about several areas running out of food and the trams being basically unusable due to crazy lines (and each one only holds 16 people, I’m told). One fan spent $1000 for his Hangar Club ticket and walked from the ferry to his seat and said it was five miles in total, and he’s so upset he isn’t coming back tomorrow.

It's really baffling how people find a reason to dislike Shane van Gisbergen. He's talented, a great interview, and he came to NASCAR, the sport that those same people love, because he also thinks it's awesome and wanted to be here. And yet I see criticism and wishing he'd leave.
